Important Points:

1. Detailed briefing of each action point or pending points to be done by the person leaving to the person takingthe handover must be done
2. Detailed discussion with the immediate reportees to be done in the presence of the person taking the hand-over and clear reporting structure must be set
3. Responsibility of ensuring smooth hand-over lies with the person leving
4. Person taking the hand-over must ensure that the handover is as per his/her satisfaction to ensure no gap in continuity of the business
5. Immediate Line managaer must ensure that the process is completed without any gaps
6. Leave without a clear hand-over/tak-over process will lead to NO Salary for the period of the leave for the person leaving as well as for the immediate Line Manager
