Water Supply a humanitarian worker. Presently i am working with Action
Water Against Hunger | ACF-France in BD mission as WASH Head of
Department. I completed B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and afterward

training for the staffs were also carried out as a part of staffs'
capacity buildings. I also lead the WASH cluster of Cox’s Bazaar,
Bangladesh and one of the SAG member of WaSH sector.
In my professional career, I have lot of experience to work in multi-
cultural context in country and abroad with diversified challenges
that I like to face and to solve in professional way to assist the
beneficiaries. I always like to generate new ideas based on the
context and incorporate it with the program activities to boost up the
output of performed activities.
As an international staffs or humanitarian worker, I like to drive
myself to be a part of a bigger purpose in the service of humanity.
Apart from that I want to learn and discover new means of program
implementation in multi-contextual interventions. I also want to know
the different altitude of WASH program in several parts of the world
and also want to contribute my own expertise on those program
activities.

Nepal

The program “Emergency WASH program in Nepal Earthquake Response” is


continuing to cover basic WASH access for earthquake affected population
and under 5 years old children suffering from acute under nutrition including
AWD/enteric diseases prevention, preparedness and response. In where the
WASH and nutrition project is composed of 2 pillars, ranked in order of scaling
up: 1. WASH at nutrition treatment facility and 2. WASH at home for outreach
patient focusing treatment, nutrition specific intervention.

Responsibility
>Integrating WASH activities with Nutrition through identifying the needs in the
earthquake affected area as well as in IDP camps.
>Actively participated at the time of proposal and budget preparation aim to
positioning the WASH activity as well as extended the duration of the projects
>Based on the performed activities regular reporting in different donor and
authority level was continued
>Implementing the Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) aim to short out the
gaps, find out the solution of minimizing the gaps for further implementation.

>Developing the guideline on Cholera Preparedness and prevention activities
and organizing the training aim to capitalize the skill of the Govt. staffs besides
the regular hygiene promotional activities.
>Financial follow up is always maintaining to ensure the proper use of budget

Program Manager-WaSH, Bangladesh mission

Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh

The program continued in three refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar District,


Bangladesh. The main focus of the program to address acute malnutrition and
diarrheal diseases among more than 64,000 vulnerable populations through
Integrated Nutrition, WASH and Care Practices.
with in the professional period, i support Nepal for the Nepal earthquake
emergency response and cholera response from 1st May to 22nd May 2015
and from 12th August to till date.
Responsibility:
> The WASH activities in three camps integrated with Nutrition and Care
Practice was continued successfully.
> Actively participated at the time of proposal and budget preparation besides
the regular reporting in different donor and authority level.
> KAP survey is regularly conducted in each years to assess the needs and
evaluation of the impact of the hygiene promotional activities
> The guideline of Community Action Plan approach developed considering
the camp context and implemented aim to involve the community to take care
of the facilities by themselves.
> Considering the camp context, the design and implementation of the
biogas plants that connected with the communal latrine block is successfully
implemented. Considering the needs and aim to reduce the O&M cost in a

sense sustainability, RCC slab, Geo-tex bag, disable friendly structure in
latrine blocks etc. is introduced.
> To ensure the quality of work at field level activities a Follow-up track sheet
developed and maintained.
> The safety for the volunteer work and casual workers was always considered
and ensured the use of protective equipment.
> Financial follow up is always maintained to ensure the proper use of budget
in a sense of accountability

Responding the Nepal earthquake emergency, as a WASH Program Manager-


Emergency I was responsible to lead the WASH Cluster and upgraded 4W
and related documents on behalf of ACF; formulating organogram, preparing
job description and lead the interview as a part of establishing the WASH
department; need assessment of the WASH activity in the earthquake prone
area; preparing design of WASH facilities like Spring Water Capping System,
emergency toilet, mobile toilet etc.; participate in proposal writing and budget
preparation; support and integrated the activities with Nutrition and MHCP
department; finalize the different hygiene kits; market assessment, prepare the
procurement request, regular visit of the stocks collaboration with logistic and
finance department.

The program continued in three refugee camps and host community in Cox’s
Bazar District, Bangladesh. The main focus of the program to address acute

> To ensure the quality of work and implementing complaints procedure and
transiency reason additional required formats are introduced in the field level

drinking water for the beneficiaries. The Water Quality Monitoring Calendar is
introduced to analysis the seasonal variation of the water quality parameters
> New hygiene promotional activities like pitcher washing demonstration,
games for waste management was introduced.
> Developed the WASH catalog to ensure the required quality of materials in
the field level.
> The safety for the volunteer work and casual workers is always considered.
> Introduced the Controlled Child Defecation Sites successfully to reduce the
percentage of open defecation from children.
> GPS map of the WASH facilities was developed aim to short out the needs in
the field level.
> The activity plan for the overall project period was ensured at the beginning
of the project period to complete the proposed tasks within the time-frame
smoothly
>The internal budget FU was maintained and preparing as well in line with
the project proposal.
> Involved in the recruiting process of staffs and volunteers as well.

the project was to Install arsenic removal technologies and verification of the
efficiency through regular water quality parameters test as well as improving
