AIM: - INSTALLATION OF VIRTUAL MACHINE SOFTWARE
DEFINITION- WHAT DOES VMWARE WORKSTATION MEAN?

VMware Workstation is a software application that allows users to create and run
virtual machines (VMs) on a single physical machine. Here’s what that means in
simpler terms:

1. Virtual Machines (VMs): These are simulated computers within your actual
computer. They behave like independent computers with their own operating
systems (like Windows, Linux, etc.) and applications, but they share the
hardware resources (CPU, memory, storage) of the host machine (your
physical computer).

2. Creation and Management: VMware Workstation allows you to create


multiple VMs on your computer. Each VM can have different operating
systems and configurations depending on your needs.

3. Running VMs: Once created, you can start and run these VMs
simultaneously on your host machine. This allows you to use multiple
operating systems and test software in different environments without needing
separate physical computers for each.

4. Uses: VMware Workstation is commonly used for software development,

STEP2:-CLICK ON THE DOWNLOAD FUSION OR WORKSTATION .
STEP3:-ENTER YOUR USERNAME WHICH YOU CREATED.
STEP4:- AFTER YOU SEARCHED ON THE DASHBOARD ABOUT THE
VMWARE WORKSTATION PRO YOU WILL GET THE LINKS ABOUT THE
DOWNLOAD FOR VMWARE FOR MANY OTHER USES.
STEP5:- AFTER YOU DOWNLOADED VMWARE WORK STATION FROM
THE LINK YOU NEED TO INSTALL IT FROM THE FOLDER IN THE
DOWNLOAD SECTION.
STEP6:- YOU NEED TO SELECT THE NEXT OPTION ON THE PRO SETUP
WIZARD.
STEP 7:- YOU NEED TO CLICK ON THE NEXT BUTTON AND ACCEPT
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
STEP 8:- YOU NEED TO CLICK ON THE NEXT BUTTON IN THE CUSTOM
SETUP PAGE.
STEP 9:- NOW YOU NEED TO CLICK ON THE NEXT ICON.
STEP 9:- NOW YOU NEED TO CLICK ON THE INSTALL ICON.
STEP 10:- NOW YOU NEED TO CLICK ON THE FINISH ICON.
STEP11:-RESULT- NOW YOUR WORLSTATION PRO 17 HAS BEEN
SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED .
