About the Institute of Teachers Education
Institute of Teachers Education is one of the vital bodies of Pt. Ravishankar
Shukla University since 2005. The institute provides four-year Integrated Teachers
Education Program (ITEP), launched in 2024. The ITEP program provides B.A.
B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed. and B.Com B.Ed. recognized by NCTE. The institute has the
latest facilities such as smart classrooms, labs for various subjects, multipurpose
hall and seminar hall etc. The university has all the amenities, like a central library,
post office, bank, canteen, hostel and auditorium for the students. ITE has a vision
to develop future teachers who can take up the task of shaping the next generation
with a sense of responsibility and commitment.

The students who have qualified the ITEP entrance exam NCET-2025 can join the
4-Year integrated B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. / B.Com. B. Ed. at the Institute of
Teachers Education, Pt Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, 492010, C.G.

Admission procedure
• The first merit list will be displayed after last date of application.
• Admission will be based purely on merit.
• Counselling date for first merit list will be displayed on the website
along with the merit list.
• Counselling process will be held as per the schedule declared by
institute after publishing the first merit list. The date of counselling
will be informed through email and whatsApp.
• After declaration of merit list, offline counselling will be held in
the Institute of Teachers Education, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla
University, Raipur (C.G.)
• A student can choose the stream based on the domain subjects
he/she as opted in NCET ITEP Entrance (NTA EXAM).
• There is no provision for choosing Major/Minor subjects.
• 75% attendance is mandatory in theory and 90% in practical
classes.
• Limited hostel facility is available.
