Target Dates: November 9, 2025- January 16, 2026
II. Rationale:
The SOLID (Science Opportunities for Learning and Innovative
Development) project aimed at enhancing the quality of science education.
The project focuses on providing students with innovative learning
opportunities and developing their scientific skills through hands-on activities,
experiments, and other engaging methods.
The SOLID (Science Opportunities for Learning and Innovative
Development) Program by DepEd, Lanao del Norte aims to enhance science
education through innovative and engaging methods. This project seeks to
build on the SOLID Program’s objectives by introducing a series of interactive
science explorations tailored to elementary students. The goal is to make
science learning more engaging, hands-on, and aligned with the SOLID
Program's standards.
Despite the SOLID Program’s focus on innovative science education,
many students at Daligdigan Elementary School still struggle with traditional
teaching methods. This project addresses these issues by incorporating hands-
on, inquiry-based activities that make learning science more relevant and
enjoyable. It will also provide teachers of Daligdigan Elementary School with
additional resources and training to effectively implement the SOLID
Program’s principles.
