INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

1. All candidates must carefully read the “Instructions for the Candidates” given on this Admission Letter and strictly adhere to them.

2. The candidature for the test is purely provisional.

3. Discrepancies or mistakes if any, in the Admission Letter, should be brought to the notice of the Commission immediately without loss of
time.

4. Candidate must bring with him/her one govt. approved original photo ID card such as Adhaar Card (preferred), Voter ID,
Driving License, PAN Card, Passport etc in addition to Admission Letter. Any other photocopies, scanned copies, photos in print or
electronic form will not be considered as valid ID Proof.

5. Candidates are advised to carry only the following items with them into the test venue:
I. Admission Letter downloaded from OSSSC website and printed clearly along with photo ID proof mentioned in Instruction No. 4.
II. In case the Admission Letter does not bear the photograph of the candidate or is not clearly visible, he/she must bring his/her recent
colored passport size self-attested photograph and handover to the invigilator for affixing the same in the space provided in the
attendance sheet.
III. A simple transparent Blue/Black Ball Point Pen.

6. If a candidate claims relaxation under PwD category, he/she must bring PwD certificate from competent authority. The scribe must also
carry his / her own valid Govt. ID proof, passport size photograph, undertaking regarding educational qualification etc. Compensatory
time 30 minutes (@ of 20 minutes per hour) shall be allowed to the PwD candidates as per rules.

7. The Candidates must not enter examination hall/room with any correcting fluid, eraser, blade, book, script, notes/loose paper,
ornaments, electrical/electronic communication devices. In case candidate is found to be in possession of any of the above, he/she shall
be expelled from the examination without any enquiry as to whether the same was/were used by the candidate or not.

8. The candidate must bring his/her Admission Letter while entering the examination hall/room only at the center specified in the Admission
Letter. The candidate is required to report before two hours of commencement of the test. The candidate shall not be admitted to the

examination center after 10 minutes of the gate closing time as mentioned in the Admission Letter.

9. Candidates will find blank sheets of paper on their desks in the exam hall. They should use them for rough work after writing their name

10. After completion of the test, candidates must sign in the device. Candidature will be cancelled if not submitted with signature.

11. On completion of the examination, the candidate should not get up from the seat but wait for instructions from the Invigilator. The

12. The candidate, after completion of the examination, must hand over the Device along with rough sheet (if any) to the invigilator.

13. Candidates are advised to check updates on OSSSC website regularly. They should also check their mailbox on the registered Email

15. The candidate shall not ordinarily be allowed to leave the examination hall/room till the completion of the test.

16. The candidate must abide by the instructions printed in this Admission Letter and further instructions which may be conveyed at the

center. If the candidate fails to observe any of the instructions, he/she shall be liable to be disqualified or debarred from the examination
as well as for future examinations for employment or may be imposed with any other penalty as per rules.
