Activities
1. Greetings Good morning class!
Good morning Ma’am!

3. Respect each other
4. Participate
3 B. Development
al Activities

1. Recall of the Now, do you still remember our

past lesson topic last meeting?
Yes, Ma’am. We discussed
about using appropriate Graphic
Organizers in text read.
Who can share what they have
learned in our last lesson?

Parts of flower
Very good. Who can recall what are
the different types of flower? sepals, petals, stamens, and
carpels.
Excellent, I can see that you learned
quite a lot.
2. Presentation But before we proceed to our
of the lesson, let us read our objectives for
objectives today.

At the end of the 45-minute

lesson at least 75% of the class
are expected to:

1. Explain the photosynthesis

process and its importance to
plant growth and the ecosystem.

2. Identify the role of light,

photosynthesis.

3. Analyze how varying

environmental factors impact the
rate of photosynthesis

20 C. Lesson
Proper

1. Activity Do you like to play another game?

Everyone please read the story.Are
you familiar with a “word search”

Okay are you done lets answer

Okay volunter?

Students will answer on the

board

o, today
2. Analysis

we are Yeas teacher

going to Teacher all about

photosynthesis

read
a story
about
Okay class did you enjoy the activity

What do you think our lesson for

today ?

Yes very good.

3. Abstraction

“Hello, we are going to learn about

photosynthesis today. Before starting
the lesson, does there anyone know
where plants get their energy from?” From the soil

Okay nice guess .

All living things need energy to survive.

How do us, human get energy? From the food we eat

From this food-web figure (Figure 1),

how do fox and rabbits gain their
energy from?
From the food they eat

From this food-web figure (Figure 1),

how do grass and trees gain their
energy from? Do grass and trees ‘eat’
any other organisms?

Teacher will play a video of

photosynthesis..
4. Application RUBRIC
Criteria Score

Timeliness 5
Total 20

Okay I will group you inot 2 then you

then to answeer the follwing before
that these are the rubrics.

2 D. Valuing/ Photosynthesis is essential for life

Values on Earth as it provides the oxygen
Integration we breathe and the food we eat.
Through this process, plants convert
sunlight into energy, producing
glucose, which serves as food for
both plants and animals.
Additionally, photosynthesis helps
reduce carbon dioxide levels in the
atmosphere, combating climate
change. Without photosynthesis, the
balance of life would be disrupted,
leading to the collapse of
ecosystems. Valuing photosynthesis
emphasizes the interconnectedness
of all living things and the critical
role plants play in sustaining life on
our planet.

3 E. Generalizatio What have your learned in lesson

n today? The cycle of photosynthesis

Very good! How about you,

Hannah?
I learned where the plants get
their foods
Great job!

It seems that you already

understand everything about tone,
mood, and purpose. So, now let us
proceed to our quiz.

Everyone please get ¼ sheet of

paper and answer the following.
