● Acknowledgement by the Student

(Please mention the kind of support provided by DLLE Unit, Principal & Extension

teachers, workplace staff, community, and others.)

Answer: The DLLE (Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension) Unit provides

students with opportunities for experiential learning through community service

projects. The Principal and Extension Teachers offer guidance, motivation, and

administrative support to ensure the smooth execution of activities. Workplace staff, the

community, and other stakeholders contribute by offering practical exposure,

resources, and collaboration to enhance students' learning and social responsibility.

● My reason for joining Extension Work Activity:

Answer: My reason for joining was to gain exposure, gain knowledge from peers and be a

part of the organizing team as well.

● Please write about:

• How I started
• How I was trained – acquired skills
• How I built rapport with the others / community around.
• How I worked and the kind of work, carried out
(Write in detail with your experiences & Project related data)
Answer: When I first got to know about DLLE committee in first year I was interested to

participate since then and in Sy not only did I get to be a member of DLLE committee but

also be a SM ie; student manager.

Being a Student Manager I gained confidence, enhanced my leadership skills. I built rapport

by being a mediator between LLE In-charge and students. My work started with collecting
3

200 rupees from students for certificates and continued with maintaining and managing

records and sessions respectively.

● Please write about the difficulties you faced while conducting activities.

Answer: The difficulties faced were lack of interest

People had just taken DLLE for names sake and not actually working for it they won't even

react to the messages that were posted.

● How did you overcome the difficulties?

Answer: By not losing my calm and requesting everyone repeatedly to react to the

messages.

● Please write about your expectations from extension work activities.

Answer: My expectations from DLLE were to gain confidence by removing stage fear or

addressing to a large group of audience.

● Are your expectations fulfilled? Please brief.

Answer: Yes, my expectations were fulfilled I did gain confidence and now I'm not afraid to

address any group anywhere how much big it may be.

● What did you learn by Extension Activities? (gain / loss)

Answer: Definitely Gain, I learnt during peer- to- peer sessions to stay calm and I gained

knowledge of how to get things done by others.

● How will Extension Work help you to contribute to the Society?

4

Answer: DLLE committee is definitely about teaching something to others and learning

something from others.

● What is your suggestion?

Answer: Short film was a hit idea, In my opinion every year people should do short film.
