This is also where any price changes are noted. We recently reduced the price of cassette tapes to 25-cents and hope you caught this change. All other prices remain the same. Thanks for your notes telling us what people are looking for in the sales room. SORTERS: Please remember to check for signed books. We are often able to sell these for higher prices than the usual $1 or $2. Other books that should be computer-checked include any University press books, coffee table size books, or any books that are old or unusual. Biographies also will often be worth more than average. While sorting books is often a great treasure hunt, it is also dirty work to go through books that were stored for years in garages or attics. Many thanks to those who persevere in helping with the sorting. If you want to volunteer to sell or sort, please contact Bonnie Tillery at 609-259-6438. WHAT WE ARE READING Friends of the Library member, Mary Ann Elliott, recommends The End of Illness by David B. Agus MD. This book is a bold call for all of us to become our own personal health advocates a departure from orthodox thinking. In offering his recommendations, he emphasizes that there are no right answers, and no master guide to one size fits all care. I truly believe we need to plan and work with our doctors. I found this book to offer good advice. One caveat Dr Agus is a cofounder of two pioneering personalized medicine companies. KIWANIS CLUB FUND RAISING PANCAKE BREAKFASTS We are advertising our book sales and programs this year in the Kiwanis Club ad books.
