D. Answer the following questions.
1. A cell address is an intersection of the row and column where the cell is located. A cell address
can be absolute ($V$13), relative (V13), or mixed ($V13 or V$13).
2. The predefined formulas in Excel are called functions. The two types of functions discussed in
the chapter are Math & Trig functions and Statistical functions.
3. Absolute cell address is one where both row number and column label are preceded by a ‘$’
sign. This means that absolute cell address for a cell located in column V and row 13 is $V$13.
Relative cell address is one where column label and row number are simply written side by side
for a cell address. For example, V13 is a relative cell address.
Mixed cell address is one where either column label or row number is written as an absolute
address, and the other is written as a relative address. For example, $V13 and V$13 are mixed
cell addresses.
4. MAX function is used to find the highest number from a set of numbers or a series of cells. MIN
function is used to find the lowest number from a set of numbers or a series of cells.
5. The data entered while using a function is known as function argument.
