(4).REVIEW SUMMARY-
Ecommerce websites have become very popular in recent years due to the increase of online
shopping and use of the internet. A well-designed ecommerce website can provide a good and
flawless shopping involvement for customers, leading to high sales and customer interaction.
Websites that are mess-up with too much information can confuse customers, leading to lower
engagement and sales. Instead, many ecommerce websites are going for a simple, streamlined design
that focuses on user experience. With a large number of people using their mobile devices for
shopping online, shopping websites need to be optimized for mobile devices. This means that the
website should be designed to be easily approachable on smaller screens and quickly loadable on
slow internet connections. Customers should ensure that their personal information is safe and secure

on mobile which is leading to more customer dissatisfaction.

3.)CUSTOMER SERVICE: At the times when traffic increases on shopping websites, sometimes
there are wrong deliveries and replies from developer side can go late which can lead to bad user
service. So handling all the enquiries of customer properly at accurate time can lead to proper
engagement in e-commerce websites.

4.)MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENTS: Many sites run the advertisements on their sites which are
misleading and can lead the people to the wrong path. By avoiding these it can lead to good user
experience and satisfaction.

(6).GOAL & OBJECTIVES-

them, subject to constraints:

Identify user needs: Conduct user research to identify the needs and preferences of the target
audience. This may involve conducting surveys, focus groups, or interviews with current or potential
customers.
Brainstorm potential features: Based on the user needs identified in step 1, brainstorm potential
features that could be added to the ecommerce website to improve the user experience. These features
could include things like improved search functionality, better product descriptions, or streamlined
checkout processes.

Prioritize features: Prioritize the features based on their potential impact on the user experience and
their feasibility within the constraints of the project. Consider factors like development time, cost,
and technical feasibility when prioritizing features.

Refine features: Once you've prioritized the features, refine them to ensure that they align with the
overall business goals and branding of the ecommerce website. This may involve further research or
user testing to determine the most effective ways to implement the features.

may involve setting up payment gateways and integrating with third-party services.

Monitor and optimize: Monitor the website's performance and make adjustments as needed to
improve user experience and achieve business goals. This may involve analyzing data, A/B testing,
and updating content or features.

Overall, the key to creating a successful ecommerce website is to focus on user experience, business
goals, and technical requirements throughout the design process. By planning, designing, developing,

19
20

testing, and launching a high-quality ecommerce website, businesses can provide a seamless and
engaging shopping experience for their customers.

(5).Key Points :-

Navigation: A clear and intuitive navigation system is essential for helping customers find what they
are looking for quickly and easily. Use categories, subcategories, and filters to help users navigate
through products.

Layout: A clean and organized layout can help customers focus on the products and make it easier
for them to find what they need. Use a grid layout, with images and descriptions that are consistent in
size and placement.

Colors: Choose colors that complement the branding of the store and help to create a visually
appealing shopping experience. Use colors to highlight important elements such as calls to action,
sale items, or new arrivals.

Images: High-quality product images can help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Use
large, high-resolution images that show products from multiple angles.

Product descriptions: Clear and informative product descriptions can help customers understand the
benefits and features of a product. Use bullet points to break up text and make it easier to read.

Checkout process: The checkout process should be as simple and straightforward as possible. Use a
progress bar to show customers where they are in the process, and provide clear instructions for each
step.

Mobile responsiveness: More and more customers are shopping on their mobile devices, so it's
important to design an eCommerce website that is optimized for mobile use. Use a responsive design
that adjusts to different screen sizes and orientations.

By considering these design elements when creating an eCommerce website, you can create a

Comparison between ‘With’ and ‘Without’ Login page:-

A login page is a web page that allows users to enter their credentials, such as a username and

password, to access restricted areas of a website or to personalize their experience on the website.
Here is a comparison between a website with and without a login page:

Website without a login page:

- Visitors can access all pages of the website without any authentication or registration.
- Visitors cannot personalize their experience on the website or access any restricted areas.
- The website does not collect any user data, such as user preferences, login history, or order history.

Website with a login page:

- Visitors must enter their credentials to access restricted areas of the website or personalize their
experience.
- Users can save their preferences, such as their shipping address, payment method, and order history.
- The website can collect user data, such as login history, search history, and purchase history, to
improve the user experience and offer personalized recommendations.

In general, a website with a login page provides a more personalized experience and collects more
user data than a website without a login page. However, it also requires users to create an account and
remember their login credentials, which may discourage some visitors from using the website. It is up
to the website owner to determine whether a login page is necessary and how to balance the benefits
and drawbacks of user authentication.
