Application Methodology
➢ Surface Preparation
• The surface shall be cleaned thoroughly of all contaminants like dust, traces of curing
compound, oil and grease. All surface imperfections and protrusions shall be removed
and repaired.
• Structurally unsound and friable concrete must be removed and repaired concrete repair
mortar.
➢ Material Preparation
• Stir TankMastic® thoroughly before use to make it homogeneous.
• After stirring, wait for the product to settle in order to let entrapped air escape.
➢ Application of Material
• Apply TankMastic® as supplied on the prepared surface by brush / roller / spray.
• Repeated coats can be given only after the earlier coat dries completely.
Precautions
• Avoid applying heavy coatings above 50µ DFT to prevent wrinkling and retardation of drying time.
• Avoid the use of cheap solvents as thinner as this may affect gloss and drying time.
• A maintenance coat after 2 - 3 year after completion of the project will be required for continual
protection and correct product performance.
• The coating should not be exposed to oil, chemicals or mechanical stress until fully cured.
Value base of product data
All technical data stated in this Product Data Sheet are based on laboratory tests. Actual measured data
may vary due to circumstances beyond our control and different test methods.
Health and Safety information

refer to the most recent Material Safety Data Sheet.
• Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
• Do not smoke while painting.
• Flammable, so store in a cool dry place away from heat and sparks.
• If accidental contact with skin should occur, wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized
skin cleaner.
• Take care to avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact, immediately rinse the eyes with plenty
of water and seek medical attention.
• Harmful if swallowed. Seek medical attention and do not induce vomiting.
