TEXT COMPREHENSION

Reading involves two fundamental moments:


1. The decoding;
2. The understanding.
The student with dyslexia invests many cognitive resources in decoding processes. The difficulty of decoding can be
overcome through compensatory tools, particularly text-to-speech.
