SUMMARY
The didactic unit Communication I is of a theoretical-practical nature. Its purpose is
develop in the student the basic knowledge, skills, attitudes, and abilities to
understand and employ comprehension strategies to produce coherent texts and
cohesive. To achieve this goal, the course develops the following units: Strategies of
comprehension, writing tools, planning of an expository text and presentation of
an expository text

TERMINAL CAPACITY
Identify and understand various types of written texts in different communicative situations,
applying reading comprehension techniques as part of their technical-professional training
and efficient job performance.

METHODOLOGY
In this teaching unit, methodological strategies such as learning are applied.
adaptive or "flipped" classroom, cooperative learning, problem-based learning
case method, project-based learning, and simulation. The purpose is to promote the
self-regulation of learning, understanding and reflection on professional performance, and
articulate the knowledge specific to the discipline with the demands of the real context.

EVALUATION
Continuous process that includes Continuous Assessment and Final Assessment.

Continuous Evaluation (CE). Monitors the learning process through various


instruments such as oral interventions, image selection, presentation of
project progress or others.
Final Evaluation (FE). It consists of the presentation of a practical work that will include
the learning achievements and contents developed in the different Units
Didactics.

The evaluation formula for the Didactic Unit is as follows:
