Job Title: Automation Tester (Python, Robot Framework)

Location: Bangalore
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3-5Y

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework and Python.

Design test cases from functional and non-functional requirements.

Execute test suites, analyze test results, and report defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure test coverage.

Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings.

Ensure traceability between test cases and business/technical requirements.

Maintain clear and comprehensive test documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:


 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
 Strong programming skills in Python.
 Expertise in using Robot Framework for test automation.
 Experience with test libraries like Selenium Library, Requests Library, or similar.
 Knowledge of testing APIs (REST/SOAP) using automation tools.
 Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
 Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Experience with BDD tools like Gherkin, Behave, or Cucumber.


 Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
 Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
 ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
