PROJECT -1
Community Building

Community building is a field of practices directed toward the creation or


enhancement of community among individuals within a regional area or with a
common need or interest.
Project outline

Primary Outcome: Students will reach out to their personal and extended networks and offer them an
opportunity to be a part of Edoofa’s educational ecosystem and acquire International education which prepares
them for the future. This opportunity must reach every youth who is motivated and has the zeal to create great
careers.

Mindset(s) covered: Identifying an opportunity and being enthusiastic about it. Further sharing such
opportunities openly impacts the lives of other people.

Guidelines and Directions for Students

 Under this project, students are expected to wear the hat of a super networker and a
person who has amazing persuasion skills. Students will understand the most critical aspect of
developing an Organization which is based on growing by creating social impact.
 This assignment will take you to youth just like you. All of you will be objectively trained on how to
look into their aspirations, and motivations and how to direct or channel them to make a decision
that will help them for their entire lives.
 For this project, you will need to reach out to African students who have recently graduated from senior secondary
schools or within the past 6 months, as well as those currently in their senior secondary level. Your task is to
connect them with the Edoofa program, where you will become part of Team Edoofa and help grow this
ecosystem. We will support you through various stages to ensure success in this project.
Implementation

Instructional details

The ideal way to do this activity is to first create a group of all the youth who are part of your
close and extended network.

These can be your relatives, your friends, cousins, and friends on social media.

Skill Building through Community Building Project

We will then together create a strategy to reach out to your entire network. We will decide on
s e v e r a l follow-ups that we will do and will strongly pursue all your students.

All of the work described above will help you acquire the most essential skills:

1. Communication Skills: They will enhance their ability to effectively communicate with African students,

explaining the benefits of the Edoofa program and encouraging participation.

2. Networking: They will build a network by connecting with recent graduates and current senior secondary

students, fostering relationships that can be beneficial for future endeavors.

3. Teamwork: Working as part of Team Edoofa, they will collaborate with others towards a common goal,

learning how to contribute effectively within a team setting.

4. Project Management: They will gain experience in managing a project from start to finish, including

planning outreach activities, coordinating efforts, and tracking progress.

5. Problem-solving: They will encounter challenges and learn to navigate them, finding creative solutions to

ensure successful connections with potential participants.

6. Cultural Awareness: Engaging with students from diverse backgrounds will enhance their cultural

sensitivity and understanding, crucial for effective global communication.

7. Leadership Skills: Taking initiative in reaching out to potential participants and guiding them through the

process can develop leadership qualities and confidence.


Scholarship Credits for Community Building Project

Apart from these benefits, you will also get “Scholarship Credits” as mentioned below-

 For every student that enrolls into the Edoofa Program and pays the first part of the enrolment
fee, you will be getting $20 worth of Scholarship credits

 Similarly, On the completion of the Admission Formalities of the university, you will be
getting $30 worth of Scholarship credits

 There is an additional opportunity to earn $5 worth of Scholarship credits per student

AFRICAN
SCHOOLS
EDUCATION
REFORM MISSION
Project outline

Primary outcome: Students will reach out to Local Schools in their local region and will
speak to the decision-makers to collaborate with Edoofa.

Note- This Project is only for Senior Secondary Schools It will be a noncommercial tie-up with the
agenda of providing scholarships to Senior Secondary Schools. Edoofa has taken a mission to
help African Schools grow using the decade-old experience of our team.

Mindset(s) covered: Reaching out to Influential people, Facing Rejections will make you
confident, Never give up attitude, Giving back to Schools/Community

Guidelines and Directions for Students

Under this project, students will reach out to various schools in their region and help us partner
with those schools

This a noncommercial tie up where Edoofa wants to help schools by the way of:

1. Sharing world-class technology and innovations happening in Indian schools so that the
African schools improve their education delivery and outcomes.
2. Career Counselling and sharing courses/programs ( best free online resources) and
scholarship opportunities with high school students of these schools.
3. Training teacher
4. Collaboration and Tie-Ups between top Indian schools with the African counterparts
Implementation

 Make a list of Higher Secondary Schools in your local area.

 Your own School must be the first one on the list and search for the contact numbers of the school
heads or principals. Now, you have to connect with them and make them understand the vision of Edoofa
as a student. After that, you will share details about the program with the principals and ask them if you can
schedule a call with the Edoofa program Director so that the students of their school can also achieve the
same.

 After the school authorities respond to your message you can set up our meeting with them. Then, our
program director will connect with them.

Skill Building through School Connect

1. Business Development: Engaging in strategic outreach to local senior secondary schools to establish

partnerships for scholarship opportunities.

2. Relationship Management: Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with school decision-makers to

foster long-term partnerships.

3. Strategic Planning: Develop plans to expand Edoofa's reach in the education sector through targeted school

collaborations.

4. Leadership and Initiative: Taking leadership in outreach efforts, demonstrating initiative in driving

partnerships forward.

5. Market Research: Conducting research on local educational landscapes and competitor offerings to position

Edoofa competitively.

6. High-Earning Potential: Skills honed in business development and strategic partnerships can lead to

lucrative roles in sales management, business development, or consultancy, especially in sectors focused on

education and international relations.


Scholarship Credits for School Reform Mission

All of the work described above will help you acquire enduring skills and professional
connections that will remain with you forever, It will give you a chance to give it back to Schools
and society.

 On every successful call/ email Response by the school to Team Edoofa- $2 will be credited
to your balance
 Once the group or the process begins- you will be awarded with $10 worth of scholarship
credits
 Additional Incentive of $25 when 5 students completes enrollment from a particular school
