Good morning, everyone! Welcome to a gathering unlike any other—a time where ideas ignite,

Now, it is my great honor to introduce someone who needs no long introduction for he has already
proven what Alexian Difference is all about—our esteemed leader and a true advocate for
excellence in nursing education. Under his guidance, the College of Nursing has not only upheld
its legacy of compassion and care but has also embraced innovation, preparing our students to
meet the challenges of the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.
He is a dedicated mentor, an inspiring educator, and a visionary leader who consistently fosters an
environment of growth, learning, and empathy. His commitment to nurturing the next generation of
healthcare professionals is evident in everything he does.
Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in welcoming the Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Aries

who plays a crucial role in the smooth operation and well-being of our institution.
Our next speaker is a dedicated professional who ensures that our school's most valuable assets
—our people—are supported, developed, and celebrated. She is at the heart of our human
resources, managing everything from recruitment to professional development, and fostering a
positive and inclusive work environment. Ladies and Gentlemen, ma’am Mary Joy B. Wee MS

Alexian Awards
"Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished guests, faculty, and students, today we have the privilege of
celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of our Alexian Achievers—individuals who have not
only met the challenges of the past academic year but have excelled far beyond expectations.
First, let's recognize the brilliant minds who have earned their place on the Dean's List for the
second semester of the school year 2023-2024. These students have demonstrated an
exceptional commitment to academic excellence, showing that hard work, dedication, and a thirst
for knowledge are the true hallmarks of success. Their achievements are a testament to their
perseverance, discipline, and passion for learning. Ladies and gentlemen, the following are the
criteria for scholastic honors:

For the Dean’s list. this is a list of students who have excelled academically and must be enrolled
in at least 18 units of academic subjects.

For the first honor, these are students who have a WPA of not less than 95% with no grade below
90.

For the second honor, these are students who have a WPA of not less than 93% with no grade
below 88.

And for the third honor, these are students who have a WPA of not less than 90% with no grade
below 85.

As we call each of their names, let us celebrate not just their grades but the countless hours of
study, the late nights, and the unwavering determination that have brought them to this moment.
