CHEMISTRY INVESTIGATORY PROJECT

Go through the instructions thoroughly.

CHILDREN MUST PREPARE A PROJECT BASED ON ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING TOPICS-

• Study of acidity of fruit and vegetable juices. (Roll no. 1-15)


• Testing the hardness, presence of Iron, Fluoride, Chloride, etc., depending upon the
regional variation in drinking water and study of causes of presence of these ions
above permissible limits (if any). (Roll no. 16-30)
• Study the acidity of different samples of tea leaves. (Roll no. 31-45)

FOLLOWING POINTS TO BE NOTED WHILE MAKING THE PROJECT:

• The project must be prepared in a scrapbook.


• The project must be hand-written at the right side of the scrapbook.
• Use of blue ink pens are allowed. (Certificate and acknowledgement pages must
be written with blue ink on light background.)
• The pictures can be printed and stuck in the scrapbook at the left pages.
• Specific diagrams/pictures can also be drawn on your own.
• You must cover the file properly with white chart paper. You can design the cover page.
• Don’t write name/class/roll or anything on the cover page except the
heading “CHEMISTRY INVESTIGATORY PROJECT’.
• Project must be maintained neatly and cleanly with good handwriting, proper margin &
boxes.
• No irrelevant write up will be entertained and may subject to cancellation.
• The pages must be written as follows:
