01 Add a device
When you first launch of the software, a dialog will be displayed to add a setup, Choose the brand and model
name of your device. Then set the connection port with printer, file port(outputting prt files) , TCP/IP 127.0.0.1
and brand name port are the most frequently used, you need to check with the manufacturer/dealer to get the
correct port settings.
02 Set preferences
You can set application preferences from the menu Edit--Preferences, the most frequently used options are Units,
file paths of temporary files and Print while RIPing.
RIPing files requires a significant amount of storage space so you may set the file patch of temporary with a
folder in the non-system partition.

04 Import ICC profiles and presets
ICC profiles can be imported by adding button in color management tab of job properties/default job
properties, you can also import preset files from the File menu--Import Preset.
05 Add and nest Jobs
Click the Job icon in the main toolbar and add images into the queue, Drag and drop files from folder into the
queue is also supported.
Nesting jobs via selecting multiple jobs in queue then click the nest button in toolbar, unnest button can separate
a set of nested job into their component jobs.
06 Set Job Properties
The Layout and Color Management Tab are most frequently used, the Layout tab controls how the job is
positioned on the output media, what size it is and the layout of the output.
The Color Management tab displays the settings related to the printing device, after you choose an ICC Profile
and the rest of the fields in the Color Correction group box fill in according to settings stored in the profile.
Click the send button after set the settings in job properties dialog.
07 Spot white with design software
You can create spot white in design software and then load the image files into production manager for white
printing, the name of spot white when designing is depended on the channel name in printer options tab of job
properties.
Set the name as Spot_1 Set the name as Spot_White
08 Color adjustments for spot white
The Color Adjustment tab provides some basic tools to manually adjust the output color.
Select the spot white color channel then you can reduce the percentage of coverage is used
for white color.
09 White options
The white options in printer options tab of job properties and they are can be used for
generating the white layer based on the original image with specified algorithm.
None: The spot white channel will be closed in
printing.
Spot color: Mapping the spot channel or spot
color in the image.
Under color: It will put a pixel of white color
under each pixel of color, the deeper the color
and the heavy the white color.
Fill color: Negative density of the option Under
color.
Substate: it will cover 100% white color for entire
printable area.
Under solid: It will put a pixel of 100% white
color under each pixel of color.
Fill Substrate: Most likely with option Fill color but
it doesn’t generate white color on blank area.
