2.6. overall argumentative structure of the work
The authors argue that as a final point, it has been shown that the determinants of economic
dynamism do not have the same influence in the advanced and the less advanced countries
(or regions). It is worth perceiving that a high degree of openness, capacity for flexible
adjustment and the quality of infrastructure are some fundamental preconditions for
economic dynamism independent of the level of development an area reveals.
On the other hand the tone and writing style of the materials are not such sufficient and

clearly stated and point out its funding. Therefore it needs more devoted work for further
demonstrate and argue on the thesis.
2.7. theoretical, ethical issues, and topics for further discussion
There are sound theoretical grounds for arguing that there is a strong and positive link
between openness and economic growth. Openness enables the exploitation of comparative
advantage, technology transfer and diffusion of knowledge, increasing scale economies and
exposure to competition. A large number of studies have confirmed such a positive relation
(Sachs and Warner 1995; Edwards 1998; Dollar and Kraay 2000).
On other hand topics for further discussions the work raise that there have been several
scholars who have criticized the robustness of these findings especially on methodological
and measurement grounds (Levine and Renelt 1992; Rodriguez and Rodrik 1999;
Vamvakidis 2002).
2.8. My own reactions and considered opinions regarding the work
For more to make net and clear, the methodological part shout have to clear and
informative
The research approach and design should clearly stated
I recommend that to dealing and digging such nationally and internationally significant
issue only secondary data was not enough, so it is important if primary data source added.
The paper hasn’t recommendation for further improving on factors affecting economic
growth within CEMAC countries, so it is needed.
