Power BI Desktop Download Manual

Step 1:

Open the Microsoft Store. You can do this by searching 'Microsoft Store' in the Windows Start menu.

Step 2:

In the search bar of Microsoft Store, type 'Power BI Desktop'.

Step 3:

Click on 'Microsoft Power BI Desktop' from the search results.

Step 4:

Click on the 'Get' or 'Install' button to begin downloading the application.

Step 5:

Wait for the installation to complete. The progress will be shown on the same window.

Step 6:

Once installed, click 'Launch' to open Power BI Desktop or access it later from the Start menu.

Step 7:

Alternatively, if you prefer a direct installer, visit https://powerbi.microsoft.com/desktop/ and scroll down to

select 'Advanced download options'.

Step 8:

Download the .exe or .msi installer based on your system architecture (usually 64-bit).

Step 9:

Run the installer, accept the license terms, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Step 10:

After installation, optionally sign in with your Microsoft account or start exploring Power BI without signing in.
