Cuenza BEED 3-2

I deployed at Granby Colleges of Science and Technology, in Grade 6-Fairybells

and the adviser is Mrs. Flor-Angeli Egos. My expectation on this observation is
that I will learn a lot from my cooperating teacher, and I will apply her
teaching strategies. Mrs. Egos is really an effective teacher in elementary,
though she’s a former senior high school teacher at ASHI. I idolize her because
she adjusts quickly to her new environment in teaching; we all know that
elementary students are difficult to handle compared to the senior high
school students.

The grade 6 students have lots of intelligent students; they are not difficult to
teach. All of them are good in academics, but like the other students,
sometimes they are too noisy and stubborn as well. Mrs. Egos can control
them using her words; they will stop talking when their adviser starts to talk,
and that’s nice for me. Anyways, Mrs. Egos is teaching a 2nd year college as
well. But just some of them are participating in Mrs. Egos; unlike the grade 6,
90% of their class are participating.

I really enjoy observing the grade 6 students; aside from Mrs. Egos, who
taught me using her teaching strategies, her students taught me as well by
their experiences. In my last day of observation, I felt sad because that was my
last day to see them answering, talking to each other, greeting me, and so on.
I wish that I could teach them in the future.
