STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE: DEPLOYING ACTIVE

DIRECTORY DOMAIN SERVICES(AD-DS) ON

WINDOWS SERVER
- In this guide, I’ll walk you through the hands-on process of deploying Active Directory
Domain Services (AD DS) on a Windows Server environment.

- Before we jump into building, we must note that an Active Directory service is a
directory service that stores information about objects on the network, such as users,
computers, groups, and other resources. So be assured that after going through this
documentation, you will be able to create and manage your Users, computers and other
resources.

- Once AD DS is installed and configured, the Windows Server becomes a Domain

di
Controller (DC), which is a server responsible for handling authentication, authorization,
and directory services within the domain.

- All you need for this is just a Windows PC(with virtualization enabled) and a Windows
server(if you don't have one, check my previous post and build it in 5 easy steps).
