Regular Past Tense: Pronunciation of -ed ending: [t], [d] & [id]

Voiceless sound: – p – k – s – ch – sh – f – x – h - pronounce -ed as [t]

Remember that it depends on the ending sound of the verb, not the letter. For example, in advise, the ‘s’ is
pronounced as a [z]. Therefore, it doesn’t have the [t] ending sound.
