Q1. Ram and Ghanshyam together can finish a job in 8 days.


Ram can do the same job on his own in 12 days. How long
will Ghanshyam take to do the job by himself?
Q2. A and B together can complete a piece of work in 12
days, B and C can do it in 20 days and C and A can do it in
15 days. A, B and C together can complete it in?
Q3. A is thrice as good a workman as B and therefore is able
to finish a job in 30 days less than B. How many days will
they take to finish the job working together ?
Q4. A man, a woman and a boy can together complete a
piece of work in 3 days. If a man alone can do it in 6 days
and a boy alone in 18 days, how long will a woman take to
complete the work?
Q5. A takes twice as much time as B and C takes thrice as
much time as B to finish a work. Working together, they can
finish the work in 12 days. Find the number of days needed
for A to do the work alone.

minutes for the container to be full, in how much time will it be

Q16. A tap having diameter ‘d’ can empty a tank in 40
