Module Goal:
To develop foundational and intermediate skills in graphic design through theory, practical
tasks, and creative projects using modern digital tools.

Phase 1: Introduction to Design (Weeks 1–3)


 Class 1: Basics of Graphic Design
- Elements: Line, shape, color, texture, space
- Principles: Balance, contrast, alignment, repetition
- Tool: Canva
 Class 2: Color Theory & Typography
- Color wheel, complementary/analogous colors
- Fonts, hierarchy, spacing
- Tool: Coolors.co, Google Fonts
 Class 3: Layouts and Composition
- Rule of thirds, grids, whitespace
- Poster/banner creation
 Mini Project 1: Design a social media post using Canva for a fictional event

Phase 2: Working with Raster Graphics (Weeks 4–6)


 Class 4: Image Editing Basics
- Cropping, filters, brightness/contrast
- Tool: Photopea
 Class 5: Layering, Masks & Selection Tools
- Cutouts, backgrounds, overlays
 Class 6: Design a Creative Poster
- Applying learned tools
 Mini Project 2: Redesign a movie or music album poster using Photopea

- File formats, DPI, bleed, RGB vs CMYK
 Class 11: Branding Essentials
- Brand identity, color scheme, font selection
 Class 12: Mockup Creation

Phase 5: UI/UX & Web Graphics (Weeks 13–15)
