SESP Program Update: Adding Digital Systems Insights

In Honeywell’s ongoing commitment to deliver value-added innovation and new solutions, we are
pleased to announce the introduction of Digital Systems Insights as a new entitlement to the
Solution Enhancement Support Program (SESP). This initiative aims to enhance your overall
experience by providing more comprehensive capabilities that will reduce your overall cost of
ownership and streamline your control system support and maintenance efforts.

Introducing Digital Systems Insights to Simplify System Support

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, efficient and proactive technical support is crucial for
maintaining seamless operations. We are excited to introduce Digital Systems Insights, a
groundbreaking solution that transforms your control system support and maintenance.

Digital Systems Insights empowers you with:

• Up-to-date Inventory Intelligence: Gain access to accurate and up-to-date inventory

information whenever you need it. No more outdated reports or questions about what you
have installed.

• Lifecycle Visibility: Stay ahead of the curve with instant access to the support life cycle details
for your installed software and hardware on your Honeywell control system assets.

• Streamlined Support Engagement: Experience a new level of efficiency when engaging with
our Global Technical Assistance Center (GTAC). Digital Systems Insights will facilitate the
sharing of key diagnostic information required by GTAC to streamline your support and help
resolve cases faster.

• AI-Powered Self-Service Assistance (future add): In 2025, we will introduce an AI powered

query capability that searches through all published knowledge articles and technical
publications. This intelligent search feature will enable a self-serve capability, putting the
power of our entire knowledge base at your fingertips.

PAGE 8 -SYSTEM HINTS NEWSLETTER ISSUE NOVEMBER 24

• Digital Systems Insights Solution Overview

Digital Systems Insights is enabled by the Unified Data Collector (UDC), a replacement for the
System Inventory Tool (SIT) which will be installed on-site. The UDC data is uploaded into
Honeywell’s Digital Systems Insights system, where you will have access to upload data, view
your inventory and lifecycle information. UDC can be run ‘on-demand’ as necessary to collect
updated inventory information whenever required, and if a problem occurs, it can be run to
partially collect the necessary GTAC checks and diagnostic information.

By leveraging cutting-edge technology, automation, and artificial intelligence, Digital Systems

Insights eliminates traditional pain points in technical support, allowing you to focus on what
matters most – driving your business forward.

Sheet Manufacturing: Open and Closed End Wide Scanner released.

The Model 6022 scanner is an innovative inline system to measure Basis Weight, Thickness and %
Moisture of a wide moving web (~11 meters) in flat sheet manufacturing industries, leveraging
proven mechanical systems for the frame and head drive to ensure reliability and performance.

Model 6022-54, Closed end O-Frame scanner with dual sensor head

Model 6022-64, Open end O-Frame scanner with single sensor head
The model 6022 provides accurate and reliable fast-scanning performance for continuous sheet
processes. This scanner includes the Precision Measurement Processor (PMP) at the end bell,
providing LAN communications with QCS SE System. The scanner’s I-beam structure and stable
measurement platform maintain precise sensor alignment, for fast measurement with superior
accuracy.

The 6022 scanner features fully modernized, Ethernet-based sensor communication. This allows for
comprehensive process measurement data to be acquired and transmitted to the control system,
enhancing operational efficiency through Machine and Cross direction controls.

Backscatter X-Ray Scanner For Tire Rubber Calenders Released

The model 6030 Backscatter X-Ray Scanner measures the weight of the bottom rubber ply entering
a tire calender. This measurement is used to enable rapid calender start-ups and product
specification changes with minimal production losses. The scanning weight measurement can be
combined with fixed-point thickness measurements, post-calender scanning total weight
measurement, and a suite of machine direction controls to provide a comprehensive tire rubber
calender control package.

With this release, the model 2030 Backscatter X-Ray Scanner will transition to Phased Out due to
critical data acquisition cards no longer being available. Please contact your Honeywell Account or
Service Manager to discuss how to best ensure ongoing support of your tire rubber calender Quality
Control System.
