time to welcome the heartbeat of our event or shall we
say the “bida” of today’s momentous occasion– the
incredible athletes who will grace this venue with their
talent and determination.

Each district represented here today brings with it an

unwavering spirit and passion for sports.

Let us all welcome, our athletes together with their

coaches, teachers, parents, school officials and district

The dynamic ORANGE team who are representing
MATINA DISTRICT! Let’s welcome the vibrant and
energetic athletes and participants as they march
towards success together with their District Supervisor,
Ma’am Evangeline Vicencio.
This time, we welcome the participants in green from
BINUGAO DISTRICT, ganda ng kulay nila, green as in
nature, a hue that signifies growth and vitality.
With them are the parents, coaches, teachers,
administrators, with their ever active leader,
Sir Ismael Segundo, Binugao District Supervisor and the
Unit Chairman of this year’s UNIT 3 Athletic Meet 2024.
Vibrant and graceful in pink, that they are. Like their
District Supervisor, Ma’am Marilyn L. Marcelo. We
welcome the Talomo A participants, coaches, trainers,
and principals.
In hues of blue, we welcome, the participants, athletes,
trainers, coaches and school administrators from
PIEDAD district. Together with their district supervisor,

Pambansang Awit and Invocation

Ladies and gentlemen, athletes, coaches, and

distinguished guests, welcome to the opening ceremony
of the Unit 3 Athletic Meet 2024! Today, we gather here
to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship, excellence, and
unity.

To start, we now invite you to rise in honor of our

beloved nation. It is with utmost pride and reverence
that we present to you the Binugao District Teachers
Chorale, who will lead us in the singing of our Philippine
National Anthem.

Following this momentous occasion, we humbly ask for

a moment of reflection and gratitude. We invite you to
bow your heads as Binugao District Teachers Chorale
offers an invocation.

Before we commence this event, let us take a moment

to acknowledge our leaders in the department of
education who are here with us to show their utmost
support and commitment.

LIGHTING OF FRIENDSHIP URN TORCH

As we stand on the threshold of this grand athletic

event, we come together not only as competitors but as
friends united by the love of sport and the spirit of
camaraderie.

In this spirit of friendship, it is with great honor that we

introduce a symbol of unity and goodwill – the
Friendship Torch.

With hearts open and spirits lifted, let us join together

in the lighting of the Friendship Torch to be led by the
Palarong Pambansa 2023 Athletes
Xiander Inojales – Basketball Palarong Pambansa
Qualifier, and
Zaharrah Venice A. Panit – Athletics Bronze Medalist.

This friendship torch symbolizes our commitment to

fostering connections, building bridges, and embracing
the spirit of friendship that unites us all.

May this flame burn bright as a testament to the power

of sport to bring people together, and may it guide us

To lead us in taking the Athletic Oath, let us invite

onstage the Taekwondo Palarong Pambansa Qualifier,
Marian Kate Caduan.
RAISING OF DISTRICT FLAGS
Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed participants, and
distinguished guests, as we continue our ceremony, we
now turn our attention to a symbol of pride and unity –
the raising of the district flag.
It is with great honor that we invite all Public Schools
district supervisors from Unit 3 to join us in this
significant moment.

These flags represent not just districts, but the

communities, values, and aspirations they embody. As
each district supervisor hoists their flag high,
let us salute these leaders and the districts they
represent, as we pledge to uphold the values of
integrity, teamwork, and respect throughout this
athletic meet.

May the fluttering of these flags inspire us all to strive

for greatness and unity, as we embark on this journey of
friendly competition and mutual respect.
