Course Objectives
 To impart knowledge of the concept and significance of Social Infra structure with
specific reference to education, health and family care policies of India.
 To make learners understand the concept of Sustainable Development Goals and
different initiatives taken by Indian government to achieve these goals.
 To give thorough insight into role of FDIs and Multinationals and familiarise the
learners with recent Indian Foreign Investment policy.
 To provide in-depth details of National Agriculture Policy 2000 and its role in
transforming Indian Agriculture.
 To enlighten the learners on various aspects and elements of Agriculture pricing
policy of India.
 To enlighten the learners on the structure of Indian Agricultural finance and recent
measures to improve rural credit.
 To impart detailed understanding on Indian Agricultural Marketing system, its
structure, issues and challenges and recent policy measures.
 To make the learners understand different aspects of Competition Act,2002 and
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
 To provide updated knowledge of recent trends in services sector with special
reference to Health care and Tourism industry of India.
 To provide insight into recent trends, issues and challenges of Indian Banking and
Insurance sector.
 To develop clear understanding among learners on the structure of Indian Money
Market, different financial money market instruments, limitations and suggestions.
 To provide a detailed understanding on the structure of Indian Capital market, and
different reform measures undertaken during post reform period.
Course Outcome
 Learners are expected to gain clear understanding of the concept of social infra structure
and different schemes launched by Indian government in education and health and
family care sector.
 The learners shall develop clear understanding of the concept of sustainable
development goals and different initiatives taken by India to achieve these goals.
 Learners shall gain thorough insight on role of FDIs and Multinationals and are able to

analyse Foreign Investment policy of India.
 Learners are able to have detailed information on different aspects of National
Agriculture Policy 2000 and its role in transforming Indian Agriculture.
 Learners shall be enlightened on various aspects and elements of Agriculture pricing
policy of India.
 Learners are expected to clearly understand the structure of Indian Agricultural finance
and are able to examine recent measures to improve rural credit.
 Students shall develop their own views after understanding Indian Agricultural
Marketing system, its structure, issues and challenges and recent policy measures.
