 Transition to the topic: “Today, we’ll explore what gives our body shape and support —
our Skeletal System!”

B. Lesson Proper (25 minutes)

1. 1. Discussion (15 minutes)

 Definition: What is the skeletal system?

 Functions of the skeletal system: Support, Protection, Movement, Mineral storage, Blood
cell production
 Major Parts: Axial skeleton and Appendicular skeleton
 Show diagrams as you explain.
 Discuss common bones (e.g., femur, skull, ribs, spine).

2. 2. Class Interaction (5 minutes)

 Ask students to locate bones in their own body (e.g., “Touch your collarbone.”)

 Show a short video explaining bone structure and how bones grow.

C. Activity (10 minutes)

Activity: Class discussion and visual identification of bones using the presentation.

D. Generalization / Wrap-Up (3 minutes)

 Review key points: What are the 5 functions of the skeletal system?
 Name 3 important bones.
 How do we keep our bones healthy?
 Let students share one fun fact they learned.

E. Assignment (2 minutes)
