Round Ceiling Diffusers

Introduction
Model KCM Round Ceiling Diffusers have a circular cone with elegant styling to
provide maximum air diffusion efficiency.

The performance efficiency of a particular diffuser design is usually judged


by the diffuser’s ability to rapidly dissipate the air velocities and temperature
differential of the supply air before it enters the occupied space.

The KCM is a fixed core round ceiling diffuser designed for both heating and
cooling applications. Each of the sizes have different numbers of cones, giving
uniformity of appearance where different sizes are used in the same area.

Application
• Recommended for Supply air constant or variable air volume cooling, heating
or ventilating systems.

• 360° air pattern delivery maintains horizontal discharge pattern with or


without ceiling effect.

• Expanding Cone design provided excellent horizontal air discharge preventing


drafts in the occupied zone.

• Suitable to surface mounted or exposed duct installations.

• Return Air use to maintain matched appearance.

Product Features
• Fixed Cone Aluminium Diffusers

• Removable inner core permits easy installation and access

• Concealed core attachment – NO screws

• Powder coated to RAL9010 or any RAL colour upon request

Construction
• Frame & inner cores are made of Aluminium.

• Available in wide variety of neck sizes ranging from 150mm up to 500mm.

• Removable inner core

• Foam Gasket seal around the back of the frame to prevent air leakage.

Accessories
• Butterfly Type Volume Control Damper – model VD

Selection Procedure
• Selections can be made by means of straight read-off from the “Performance Product Selection Check List
Tables”
• Select Inlet (Diameter) Size based on desired
• Determine air volume flow rate per outlet. performance requirements.
• Establish the required throw (Refer Notes for Throw Pattern) • Select volume control accessories, if desired (VD)
• Select the diffuser based on required Air flow rate against the limiting • Select RAL Colour
