PSALMS 91:1-2

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High

will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]

2
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Friends, colleagues, family members of Maam Dina, ladies and gentlemen,

good evening.
We are all gathered here tonight to pay tribute to our friend, colleague and
love one, Maam Dina Madulara Ordiz whom God has already called to be with
him in paradise. Before we will finally lay her to rest, let us cherish the
memories that we had with her. Memories, that with her untimely demise,
are the only ones that will remain with us.

Yes, death is inevitable but let us all understand the paradox of both life and
death- the sole guarantee of life is that we will all die. In that sense, death
can be said to be something that is ordinary and extraordinary at the same
time. Indeed a strong paradoxical statement to us mortal beings- DEATH AS
A METAMORPHOSIS OF LIFE.

For sure Maam Dina will greatly appreciate all your farewell thoughts of here
as she will listen to our stories, anecdotes, accounts, and everything in
between about her.
