have gone through the rules, regulations and other requirements as given out in the hand book as well as
in the admission letter and I hereby declare that I shall abide by the same in letter and spirit. I fully
understand and agree with the rules with regard to attendance, campus placements and discipline and
categorically state that I accept the same unconditionally. I specifically state that Sri Balaji Society is not a
Placement Agency, that they never claim any tie up with any company for campus placement and that I
have to maintain the highest standards of professional competency to get selected by the company by merit.
In case I don’t get placed I will not blame anyone but myself. In case, I violate any rules, the Institute
authorities can take any action against me at their discretion.
2. I am fully aware that, in case I get hostel accommodation, I must ensure that:-
(a) I am fully responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, maintenance, safety / security of
my personal property. I will not paste any photographs / posters, or I will not do anything to
spoil the walls. In case, any of the provision is violated, the cost of redoing the wall shall/can
be recovered from my Deposit.
(b) I shall strictly follow ‘Silent Hours’ and will not make or cause any kind of noise inside
my room/cluster/corridor. I shall be in my room by 10.00 PM, and I will not allow anyone other
than the room- mates to stay in my room. I agree that I will not play music loudly/use any
musical instrument which will disturb the privacy of others in the room/cluster.
(c) As a responsible hosteller, I will not go out of the hostel after 9:20 PM and if I find any
of my roommates are not there, I will report the same to the Rector immediately. In case any
authority finds anyone missing from my room on surprise check I shall be held responsible if I
have not reported the same to the Rector as well as the Director of my Institute/Hostel office
and the management can initiate appropriate action against me.
(d) I will treat my room – mates with respect and dignity befitting a sister / brother.
(e) I shall use ‘mosquito net’ invariably during the night hours. If I am found not using the
Mosquito net, I shall buy two mosquito nets and present one to management within 48 hours
and the same should be distributed to charity. Also, I understand that I carry my family photo
frame and keep it on my study table.
(f) I shall switch off the lights and fans in the room/cluster when I leave for the class or
outside.
(g) No electrical appliances other than Table Lamp shall be used by me in the hostel. If found,
the appliances will be confiscated and will not be returned.
(h) I will not carry any cooked food items including tea and coffee inside the hostel
premises and academic block.
(i) I have got myself vaccinated for all the common diseases mentioned in the admission
letter and I am attaching the certificate signed by competent doctor with his complete details.
In case of any medical problem, I will avail immediate treatment with the help of my
roommates without any delay. I will also inform the Director & Rector.
3. I shall take permission to visit outstations if required by the Institute in groups, on industrial
visits and on other visits such as going for interviews and so on in the interest of my Education /
Institute /Placement activity at my own risk and considerations. I shall be fully responsible for my
safety and security while in Pune or while I travel to outstations on educational and other
requirements including project studies. I shall submit both my and my parent’s undertaking for all
such movements.
4. In case I want to go out overnight to meet parents/local guardian, I will follow hostel night-
out procedures.
5. I will never ride/travel on a two-wheeler without wearing crash helmets.
6. I, as a citizen of this great nation will report to authorities/police in case I notice/suspect any
anti national activity either in the hostel or anywhere.
7. I am joining the Institute purely to learn and gain knowledge, and to pursue a good corporate
career, my entire focus and concentration will be on skill building. I will not involve myself in any of
the religious/political activities in the university premises
8. I agree that ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. I will visit http://www.antiragging.in to
complete the online undertaking and will generate Anti-Ragging Online Undertaking Reference Number.
