Rules and Regulations

Pookkala malsaram rules:

• Diameter: 1 metre maximum.


• Only fresh owers, petals, and leaves allowed.
• No synthetic items, powders, or paints.
• Stay fully within the allotted boundary.
• Finish within time limit. (8:30 to 9:45)
• Keep area clean and avoid disturbing others.
• Team size as per organizer.
• Judging: design, color, neatness, theme, timing.

Sundarikal Pottuthodal Rules:

• A picture of a person without a bindi is given.


• Player is blindfolded, spun around, and given a bindi/sticker.
• Player tries to place it on the correct spot (forehead) of the picture.
• Closest placement wins.
• No peeking or touching the picture beforehand.
• It should be completed within 2 minutes.

Lemon and Spoon Race Rules:

• Place a lemon on a spoon and hold the spoon in your mouth.


• Start on signal and walk/run to the nish line without dropping the lemon.
• If lemon falls, pick it up and continue from the same spot.
• First to cross the nish line wins.

Vellamkudi malsaram Rules :

• All players start together.


• Drink as many glasses of water as possible in 2 minutes.
• Person who drinks the most wins.

Chaakilottam (Sack Race )Rules:

• Each player stands inside a sack holding it at the waist.


• Race starts on signal.
• Players hop to the nish line without leaving the sack.
• First to cross the line wins.
• No pushing or pulling others.

Malayali Manka / Kerala Sreeman Rules :

• Round 1: Self-introduction.
• Round 2: Any talent performance.
• Round 3: Questionnaire.
• Judged on dress, con dence, knowledge, and talent.
• Judges’ decision is nal.

Bun kadikkal game rules :

• Buns are hung at a height.


• Players stand and use only legs to adjust/move the bun to their mouth.
• Eat as much bun as possible in 2 minutes.
• Most eaten wins.

Musical Chair Rules :

• Arrange chairs in a circle (one less than number of players).


• Players run around while music plays.
• When music stops, sit quickly; one player without a chair is out.
• Remove one chair each round.
• Last player seated wins.

Kettypidutham Rules :

• Walk around while music plays.


• Host calls a number form groups of that size.

• Leftover players are out or given a task.


• Continue until winners remain.

Uriyadi Rules:

• Pot is hung at a height.


• Player is blindfolded, spun, and given a stick.
• player tries to break the pot within 3 minutes while staying in the marked area.
• No peeking or hitting others.
• Fastest to break wins.

Vadam Vali Rules:

• Two equal teams pull opposite ends of rope.


• Center mark must cross team’s line to win.
• Start only on signal.
• No tying rope to body, sitting, or fouling.
• Referee’s decision is nal.
