Movie Ticket Booking System

Problem Statement

A movie theater aims to develop a web-based ticket booking system that


provides a smooth and interactive experience for both customers and
administrators. The platform will allow customers to view current and upcoming
movies, display available showtimes. Users will be able to select specific seats
through an interactive seat map and reserve them After seat selection, the
system will display electronic tickets
On the admin side, the system will enable management of movies, showtimes
the goal is to deliver a complete, user-friendly, and responsive movie ticket
booking experience.

Requirements

FR-1: The system shall allow users to view current and upcoming movies.
FR-2: The system shall display available showtimes for each movie
FR-3: The system shall provide an interactive seat map that allow users to select
specific available seats
FR-4: The system shall allow users to reserve the selected seats and complete the
booking process
FR-5: The system shall display electronic tickets after a successful booking.
FR-6: The system shall allow admins to add, update, and delete movies.
FR-7: The system shall allow admins to add, update, and delete showtimes.
