INTRAMURALS 2025 GUIDELINES


THEME: “SA DULA UG PANAGHIUSA, REGIONALISTA ANG BIDA”
OBJECTIVE:
The primary objective of the Intramurals is to promote physical fitness, tea
mwork, discipline,
sportsmanship, and camaraderie among students through various
sporting events and activities.

ELIGIBILITY:
1. All students currently enrolled in GRSHS-X S.Y. 2025-2026 are
eligible to participate.
2. Players must register for their chosen events by the specified deadli
ne.
3. Parent’s consent must be signed by the parent/ guardian and
adviser.
4. Medical clearance is required for all sports except online sports.

EVENT CATEGORIES PER YEAR LEVEL:


1. Team Sports: Basketball (male and female), volleyball (male and
female)
2. Individual/Double Sports: Badminton (male and female), table tennis
(male and female), chess (male and female), and scrabble (male
and female)
3. Online games: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (mixed), Valorant
(mixed), Call of Duty Mobile (mixed)
4. Combat Sport: Taekwondo (exhibition)
5. Fun Games
6. Mr. and Ms. Intramurals (male and female)
7. Batch Cheering (all)

REGISTRATION:
1. Registration forms must be submitted to the Intramurals committee
by August 11, 2025.
2. Each participant can register for one physical and one online
sport event only.
3. Teams must submit their rosters by the registration deadline.

UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT:


1. Players must wear appropriate sports attire (class t-shirt or shirt
with batch color) and footwear during the game. Please follow the
following dress code for non-players on the following days:
Wednesday - PE and Type C uniform (all)
Thursday - Class/Batch t-shirt
Friday - White t-shirt and loose pants
Saturday - Batch t-shirt/color
2. Each team is responsible for their uniforms and equipment.

CONDUCT AND SPORTSMANSHIP:


1. All participants, coaches, and spectators must exhibit good sportsm
anship at all times.
2. Any form of cheating, harassment, bullying (booing of players) or
unsportsmanlike conduct of players and spectators belonging to any
team will result in removal of their players and deduction of points.
3. Complaints or disputes must be reported to the Grievance committe
e for
resolution. The grievance committee will resolve any
misunderstandings and disputes between students/teams. The
Grievance Committee is composed of the following:

GAME RULES:
1. All games follow a bracket system except for Chess which will follow
a Round Robin Elimination.
2. The batch captain/representative will select their game slot through
draw lots per sport.
3. Official rules for each sport will be followed.
4. The games will begin when the teacher-facilitator is around. No
teacher means no game.
5. Referees’ decisions are final.
6. Any team or individual that does not adhere to the rules will be subj
ect to
deduction of points.

HEALTH AND SAFETY:


1. The medical team (school clinic in-charge, boy scouts and girl
scouts’ non-players, Red Cross Youth) will be on-
site to address any injuries or health concerns.
2. Students with medical conditions/illness are discourage from joining
strenuous games during the Intramurals.
3. Players must inform the medical team of any pre-existing health con
ditions.
4. Each year level must have Hydration stations and must assign
Water Girls and Boys.
5. For games conducted at Sto. Niňo covered court, players and
spectators are required to submit POD outslip form to the guard.
6. All players and spectators who will go out of the campus is required
to come back to school when the games are over. Going elsewhere
is prohibited.
7. Each grade level must submit to the POD the complete list of
Basketball players and 20 spectators per grade level including the
water boys and girls who will go out of the campus. No student is
allowed to go out if not included in the list.
8. All class beadles/secretary will check the attendance in the morning
and in the afternoon and will submit the attendance to the adviser
for easy monitoring. One or more absent/tardy student/s means a
demerit of 1 point to the over-all score.

SCORING, GAME RESULTS, AND AWARDS:


1. Points will be awarded based on performance in each event.
Team Sports- Basketball, Volleyball, Online Games, Cheering, Mr. and
Ms. Intramurals
1st place-10 points
2nd place -8 points
3rd place -6 points
Non-winners-4 points
Individual/Dual Sports-Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Scrabble
1st place -5 points
2nd place -4 points
3rd place -3 points
Non-winners-2 points
2. Only game officiating officials will submit the official result of the
game to the Intramurals Announcement Committee.
3. Deductions of points to the total score will be granted to the year
level if any student/s will commit the following violations:
Fighting with other players or officials - 1 point
Dirty Assigned Areas /Booths - 1 point
Violation to School Policies - 1 point
One or more student/s is/are absent/tardy -1
point
4. Trophies, medals, certificates, and
tarpaulins will be awarded to winners and outstanding
performers.
5. The team with the highest overall points will be declared the Intram
urals
champion.

EVENT SCHEDULE:
1. The detailed schedule of events will be posted on the official bulletin
board.
2. Participants must arrive at their event venues at least 30 minutes be
fore the
scheduled start time.
3. Any changes to the schedule will be communicated promptly.

BOOTHS:
1. Each year level must have a booth.
2. All booths must be registered.
3. No classrooms will be used for booths.
4. Each booth must submit a description of their activity or product for
approval.
5. Booth locations are assigned at designated places. See map.
6. Booths can be set up a day before the event and must be ready by
the Opening Ceremony.
7. All booth operators are responsible for keeping their area clean and
safe. Dirty booths would mean deduction of points to the total score
of the year level.
8. Cooking and using of electricity are prohibited.
9. The following booth types are allowed: Game Booths, Food Booths,
Merchandise Booths, Activity Booths.
10. Food Booths must not sell duplicate items from the school
canteen.
11. Marriage Booths, Jail Booths, Handcuff Booths are allowed
provided that
Operators must not coerce anyone to participate. Consent of both
parties must be asked. No booth shall violate the NO PDA policy of
the school.
12. Kissing booth and Violent- themed booths are prohibited.
13. All booth operators must seek approval to operate from the
Prefect of Discipline- Maria Carmen Ebron.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. All students must adhere to the GRSHS-X School Policy and code of
conduct at all times.
2. Time in is 7:30 A.M. and time out is 4:30 P.M. Deduction of points will
be granted to the grade level with tardiness.

4. Public Display of Affection, Smoking, alcohol, drugs and weapons are
strictly prohibited.
5. Respect for property, peers, and event officials is mandatory.
6. No vehicles are allowed inside the campus.
7. No visitors or students from other schools are allowed to get inside
the campus during the duration of the Intramurals. Alumni students
may be allowed provided that they are invited as guests/judge by a
faculty member.
8. No student is allowed to stay in the classroom, except for peeing,
pooing, and those

overseers during the entire duration of the Intramurals.
10. Everyone is tasked to clean their classroom and lobby, playing
areas and the whole campus daily with the following area
assignment:
Grade 7 - In front of the academic building
Grade 8 - Canteen Area, Guard House Area to
Academic Building
Grade 9 - Covered Court
Grade 10 - Student’s Study Area
Grade 11 - In front of SHS Building
Grade 12 - In front of Orange Building including the
stage
Basketball athletes and spectators- Sto. Niño Basketball Court
