BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
RULES AND REGULATIONS

GENERAL RULES : The tournament shall adhere to the rules and regulations of
official basketball rules of March 2023 with the following agenda from the
management of the tournament.

1. The team must be composed only 10-15 players.

2. Each team will submit to the management the name of their manager,
coach, assistant coach, and captain ball.

3. Players when playing should wear the prescribed attire that is rubber
shoes, jersey up and down.

4. Time at the table is considered as the official time.

5. Scores at the table is considered as official scores.

6. At 15 minutes after the starting time and team is not yet present of is
not able to field 5 players ready to play, the game is awarded to the
opponent and the score shall be 20.

7. Gambling is definitely not allowed among all players, punishment is


disqualification of the whole team.

8. Players who uses black tactics in the game such as foot blocking and
punching that may cause injury shall be disqualified on the entire
duration of the game, and continued doing such unsportsmanlike
behavior may be cause for disqualification on the entire duration of the
tournament.

9. Only the coach, manager, assistant coach and team captain are
allowed to complain against other teams and rules to the tournament
officials.

10. Referee’s decision is final.


11. In case of triple tie, Quotient shall applied.

12. The prize of the tournament would be;


1st prize - P 25, 000.00
2 Prize

- P 20, 000.00
3 Prize

- P 15, 000.00

13. Others …………. 1. Players under influence of liquor shall not be


allowed to play.
2. Players who does not play in the first round could not
play in the second round.
3. any person who do or act mistreatment to our official
referees either the Players, Coach, Manager, Assistant
Coach, Team captain, even the Audience will be one pay
the referees professional fee which cost P 7, 000.00.

14. First ELIMINATION round robin is apply, by ranking 1 to 4, after


consolidating the rank, 1 and 2 is fighting for CHAMPION and 3 and 4 is
for third.

15. EIGHT (8) minutes each quarter. Timeout/s per quarter;

1st Quarter 1 Timeout


2nd Quarter 1 Timeout
3rd Quarter 1 Timeout
4th Quarter 2 Timeout
