Ans. An organ system is a group of organs that work together to perform a
specific function in the body. Our body has eight organ systems that
perform eight different functions.

2. How does the blood flow to every part of our body?
Ans. The blood is carried through a network of thin tubes called blood vessels,
namely arteries, veins and capillaries. The heart pumps blood into the
blood vessels which carry blood all over our body.
3. What is the role of brain in the working of the sense organs?
Ans. We have five sense organs, namely eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin. Each
sense organ takes impulses from the surroundings and sends messages to
the brain. The brain understands these messages and tells our body how to
respond.

Ans. The brain controls all our organ systems. The brain sends and receives
signals through the nervous system to ensure proper functioning of all
the systems.

Ans. Other than the urinary system, skin, lungs, and even eyes helps in excreting
waste products in different forms through sweating, breathing and tears.
