Components of a Computer System

Aim: To understand the basic components of a computer system.

Theory:

A computer system consists of two main parts: hardware and software.

- Hardware includes the physical components such as CPU, monitor, keyboard, mouse, and
printer.
- Software is the set of instructions that tells the hardware what to do.
There are also input devices (keyboard, mouse), output devices (monitor, printer), and
storage devices (hard disk, pen drive).
The CPU (Central Processing Unit) processes the data and controls the flow of information
in the system.
