Defence (10.00% scholarship)
The Defence and Government Services scholarship is open to candidates who are full-time employees of the
concerned service. To be eligible, you must upload your Distinct ID card issued by the Government of India.
VIT Alumni (10.00% scholarship)
To be eligible, you must upload the passing certificate from VIT.
VIT Employees (25.00% scholarship)
Applicable to VIT Vellore non-teaching staff and their children. To be eligible you must upload an approval letter
from VIT Registrar or VITOL Director.

Agreement
Vellore Institute of Technology will collect fees for this programme. Once payment is received, a receipt will be
issued to you for your records.
Please note:
The programme fee must be received on or before the instalment date mentioned.
Seats will be released to other prospective participants if your payment is not received before the payment
deadline.
In order for you to be enrolled in the programme and to participate in it, you must make payment of the
programme tuition, including the programme management fee, within the stipulated timelines. Failure to do so will
result in cancellation of your admission and you may forfeit some or all of your tuition fee. You will receive an
acknowledgement of your payment within 7 working days of receipt.

The application fee once paid is non-refundable.
ID Verification Requirement for Admission
Students must submit valid DEB ID and ABC ID in the application form. Failure to provide correct IDs during
verification, or failure to rectify incorrect IDs when requested, will result in admission cancellation.
Language, and Visa Requirements, if Any
The primary language used in our programmes is English and our programmes may involve a considerable
amount of 'business' vocabulary and reference to technical subjects, as well as group discussions and
interactions. To achieve the greatest benefit from our programmes, and to be able to participate fully, applicants
are expected to have a good command of both written and spoken English.
Certificate
The Institute shall carry out the examination and evaluation required for certification. Upon completion of the
programme, the Institute will directly award a certificate to participants who complete the programme successfully.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
The refund for withdrawal of admissions will be made to students as per the statutory/ regulatory body’s
guidelines. The recommended refund schedule is given below table-1
The student opting to withdraw from the programme in which he/she is enrolled must submit a written application
clearly disclosing the reasons for the withdrawal. Such requests may be admitted on merit after due consideration.
Once Vellore Institute of Technology approves the refund, the refund amount will be credited to the bank account
as provided by the participant.

formally notified last date of admission – Refund on programme fees is *100%
If the notice of withdrawal of admission is received by Vellore Institute of Technology in less than 15 days before
the formally notified last date of admission - A refund on programme fees is 90%
If the notice of withdrawal of admission is received by Vellore Institute of Technology in 15 days or less after the
formally notified last date of admission - Refund on programme fees is 80%
If the notice of withdrawal of admission is received by Vellore Institute of Technology in 30 days or less, but more
than 15 days, after formally notified of the last date of admission - A refund on programme fees is 50%
If the notice of withdrawal of admission is received by Vellore Institute of Technology is more than 30 days after
formally notified last date of admission - Refund on programme fees is 0%
Terms:
*Refund Processing charges of Rs. 5000/- shall be deducted from the refundable amount for all programmes in
Category 1.
The application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
In the case of Foreign / NRI candidates, the refund will be made in accordance with RBI / foreign exchange
regulations.
Fees shall be refunded to an eligible student within 15 days from the date of receiving a written application from
the student
The refund information given above is indicative only and Vellore Institute of Technology reserves the right to
make any changes as per the notifications received from the concerned statutory/regulatory authorities from time
to time.

By submitting this application, I understand and agree with all mentioned Terms and Conditions pertaining to -
Programme Fee, Language Requirements, and Certificate Cancellation/Refund Policy. I hereby declare that all
programme content & learning material I receive access to as part of the programme shall be treated as

At any point of time during the programme, if documents submitted are found to be inauthentic, or incomplete, or
your marks are not as per the declaration made, your admission will stand cancelled.
