IGTR is set up at Ahmedabad under agreement between Govt. of India & Germany. The main
objectives of the Tool Room are to manufacture complex and high quality tools, organizing
professional, long and short term training courses in the field of toos and die making etc. The Tool
Room is looking for following result oriented persons in the respective fields and invite fields and
invite application for filling up the following positions initially on contract basis for 5 (five) years
and can be extended till superannuation, subject to review of performance.

For Position No.1 :
Qualification Essential : Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Mfg. Tech) or
equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : PG / PG Dip. In Tool Design / Tool Prod. / Management or equivalent
from recognized Institution.
Experience Essential : 8 years in Production Department in Tool Rooms. / Reputed ENgg.
Industry / Orgn. Out of which 5 years in responsible Tech / Mgt. position.
Experience Preferable : Practical experience in Tool Design / Tool Prodn. Using CAD/CAM
Tech, CNC machine. Exp. In use of computer for production Planning, MIS, Cost Accounting etc.
For Position No.2 :
Qualification Essential : Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Mfg. Tech) or
equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : PG / PG Dip. In Tool Design / Tool Prod. / Management or equivalent
from recognized Institution.
Experience Essential : 8 years in Production / Design Department of Tool Rooms. / Reputed
Engg. Industry / Orgn. Out of which 5 years in responsible Tech / Mgt. position.
Experience Preferable : Practical experience in Tool Design of Tool, Mould and Press Tools etc.
Practical experience in use of CAD/CAM Tech for Tool Design and / or Prodn.
For Position No.3 :
Qualification Essential : Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Mfg. Tech) or
equivalent from a recognized university / Institution.
Qualification Desirable : PG / PG Dip. In Marketing / Management or equivalent from
recognized Institution.
Experience Essential : 8 years in Production/ Design/ Marketing Department in Tool Rooms. /
Reputed Engg. Industry / Orgn. Out of which 5 years in responsible Tech / Mgt. position.
Experience Preferable : Practical experience in Marketing and / or Consultancy. Practical
Experience in Cost estimation of Tools / Dies, Use of computers in office admin. Etc.,
