My Life as a Cat

I was born in a warm, quiet place with my mother and my brothers and sisters. At
first, I could not see or walk, but I could feel my mother’s soft fur and hear her gentle
purring. She kept me safe and warm. After waiting through some days, my lids finally
cracked open and then my sleepy body began to move around. It was a big and
fresh world and I felt so awash with curiosity about everything.

Every day, I wake up and stretch my body. I love to watch the birds fly by out my
window. Sometimes, I make little noises at them, but they never hear me. Humans
give me food, and I eat happily. After eating, I clean my fur by licking it. Then I found
a nice spot to lay down for a snooze nap time. I love cozy naps and sleeping in nice,
warm places, like cuddling up on the couch or snuggling close to the window where
the sun kisses me.

I also love to play. I chase small things like balls, strings, and even bugs that come
into the house. Sometimes I zoom round blazing fast and there's just no reason, it's
joy! My humans laugh when they see me do this. At night, I find myself even more
excited and really boppin' around the house leaping and bounding around like a
hyper puppy. But many times when I get too weary, I just snuggle up and take a nap.

Why did I choose cat?

I chose to write about a cat because we have a pet cat at home. I watch our cat
every day, and I think their life is simple but fun. They eat, sleep, play, and make their
humans happy. That's why I really wanted to tell this story from kitty point of view.
