1. Comparisons (So sánh)
a. So sánh bằng (equality)
- Cấu trúc:
S + be + (not) as/so + adj/adv + as + N/Pronoun
S + V + (not) as/so + adv + as + N/Pronoun
- Ví dụ:
This program is as interesting as that one.
The new reporter doesn’t work as effectively as the old one.
b. So sánh hơn (comparative)
- Cấu trúc:
S + be + adj-er/more adj + than + N/Pronoun
S + V + adv-er/more adv + than + N/Pronoun
- Ví dụ:
Watching TV is more popular than reading newspapers.
She works faster than her colleagues.
c. So sánh nhất (superlative)
- Cấu trúc:
S + be + the adj-est / the most adj
S + V + the adv-est / the most adv
- Ví dụ:
Facebook is the most popular social network in the world.
She reports news the fastest in our team.

2. Relative Clauses (Mệnh đề quan hệ)
a. Định nghĩa
- Mệnh đề quan hệ bổ nghĩa cho danh từ đứng trước.
- Đại từ quan hệ: who, whom, whose, which, that.
b. Mệnh đề quan hệ xác định (Defining)
- Dùng để xác định danh từ đứng trước, không có nó thì câu mất nghĩa.
- Ví dụ:
The reporter who interviewed the singer is my friend.
The program that you watched yesterday was interesting.
c. Mệnh đề quan hệ không xác định (Non-defining)
- Thêm thông tin phụ, ngăn cách bằng dấu phẩy.
- Ví dụ:
Facebook, which was founded in 2004, is the most popular social network.
My teacher, who is very kind, helps us a lot.
