SLA is contract made by and between Ethio telecom and the end user /Business

Customer/ which defines the level of service expected from Ethio telecom and

the obligation from the user.

▪ The SLA package consists of Service Availability (Up & down time of

service), Guaranteed Time to Repair (GTTR) and Quality of Service

(measured by Packet Loss, Latency & Jitter)

▪ The signed SLA will have a minimum of one year (12 months) contractual

period with Ethio telecom.

 SLA PENALTIES EXCLUSION POINTS

Ethio telecom shall not be liable for not meeting SLA in the following conditions;

• Commercial power related service failures: (after four hours of commercial power outage)

• Actions of the customer: Faulty of customer infrastructure or internal wiring

• Wrong service address and dedicated contact number of the customer.

• Inaccessibility to the customer or its locations will be challenging:

• If the customer refuse to allow ethio telecom access to the service location to restore the service availability.

• Delay in obtaining the accurate information from the customer.

• Preventive/planned maintenance/or rehabilitation: Request for service modification by the customer will not
be considered as incident.

• Force majeure: Any occurrence that results for the parties involved not to carry out their responsibilities as per
the SLA agreement in the context of Ethiopian law.
