Back-to-Back (B2B) Sales Order Process

The Back-to-Back Supply Creation Flow in Oracle Fusion is a business process


management (BPM) feature that enables organizations to create and manage
supply chain transactions in a seamless and automated manner.
This flow allows for the creation of purchase orders and sales orders, as well as
the generation of corresponding invoices and credits, all within a single workflow.
By streamlining these processes, companies can improve supply chain visibility,
reduce errors, and increase efficiency, ultimately leading to cost savings and
improved customer satisfaction. It simplifies supply chain management by
automating routine tasks and enhancing collaboration.
B2B Setups & Flow
1.Create Item - Set B2B Attributes: List Price, B2B enabled
In Product management, Click Product Information Management and click on
Create Item

Define Item header details

Provide UOM Details

In specifications Tab, provide values for required attributes like below


in purchasing section define List Price for Item

In Sales and Order Management section set

And Click on Save, and assign item to Child inventory in association tab

Save and Close.

2. Run "Collect Planning Data"


Go to Supply Chain Planning and click on Plan Inputs.
And Click on task - Collect Planning Data

Choose Source system as “OPS” and reference entities as “Items” as below and
submit.

and submit. Check Scheduled Processes


3. Add Item to Price list.
Go To Order Management and click on “Pricing Adminstration”

In tasks click on Manage Price List

Query Price list

Click on edit and add item to price list

and click on create charge, if you want to change price on SO, enable Allow
manual Adjustment
Click on Save and close.

4. Create ATP Rule


Go To Order Management and click on global Order Promising

In Tasks click on Manage ATP Rules

Click on create and define values like below in ATP Rule Criteria
In ATP Rule Assignment assign our B2B Item

Click Save and Close


5. Create Sourcing Rule
Go To Order Management and click on global Order Promising

Click on Create
Click on add Sources for buying and supplier details

Click on save and create another for sale of Item created

Click on add Sources for Selling


Click Save and Close.

6. Check Default Sourcing Assignment Set


In Setup and Maintenance, search for Manage Administrator Profile Values
And search for Profile Option – “MSP_DEFAULT_ASSIGNMENT_SET”

Now we can add our definitions in this Assignment set.

7. Setup Sourcing Assignment Set


Go To Order Management and click on global Order Promising
In Tasks click Manage Assignment Sets

Query for Assignment set and click on edit


Click on add and define for Buying with sourcing rule created based on Org and
Item value

Now create for selling for item

Save and close.

8. Set Default Procurement Preparer


In Setup and maintenance, search for task Manage Order Management
Parameters

Define for preparer name for BU


9. Set Default Buyer
Search For task - Manage Buyer Assignment Rules
Define User for Requisition BU and Procurement BU

10. Set Default Ship To and Bill To Location at supplier.


Go To Procurement and click on suppliers.
Click on Task Manage suppliers

Query Supplier and in supplier’s site Tab, click on site assignments to Define the
values like below
Save and close.

11. Enable " Customer Sales Order Fulfilment" at Procurement Offering


Go to Offerings and click on Procurement and then on Opt in Features

And enable feature and click on done

12. Run "Collect Planning Data"


Go to Supply Chain Planning and click on Plan Inputs.

And Click on task - Collect Planning Data

Choose Source system as “OPS” and select all entities as below and submit.
13. Run ” Refresh and Start Order Promising Server”
Select All and submit like below

14. Set the Requisition Preferences


Go to Procurement and click on Purchase Requisition

In tasks Click on Update


Define requester, Deliver to location, destination type and Sub inventory.

Save and Close

15. Create Purchase Agreement


Go to Procurement click on Purchase Orders and in Tasks click on Create
Purchase Agreement.

Enter values like under and click create


Define values

Go To Lines and click add and select Item

Now in control tab enable Auto Generate Orders

Save and click on Submit.


Query again to check the approval status
Open means approved.

Back-To-Back Flow- Create Sales Order (SO)


Go to Order Management and click on Order Management
click on Create Order and Add customer and order type details on header

Add Item details on line.

Add shipping method

Add Warehouse in supply tab

And validate the Sales Order


Now Submit order for booking

Check order status

Refresh SO

Again Refresh
Switch to fulfilment View

Check the Supply Details Tab Below for Supply order No & Status

Supply Order No generated for B2B, Now go To actions and click on Check
Availability
Expand Availability Options section

Select the line and again in actions Click on Availability Details

Here we can see the item we selected for B2B is scheduled for supply as per
sourcing rule created and supplier details also available as setup done for
Click on Done, Now in General tab click on Orchestration Process Number

Here we can see the Tasks assigned for our B2B flow

Now in Fulfilment Lines Tab click on Supply details section

Click on Supply Order Number


In Supply Order Details, Select Line

And click on Buy section to see details of Purchase documents auto created.

Now Go to Procurement and Click Purchase Orders

In tasks click on View Requisition Lines, Query the Purchase requisition number
Auto created by system like below
Click on Order Number to open the PO against the purchase requisition.

Check details and validate and Submit the PO for approval from Actions
As PO is approved, it is open for Receiving.

Create Receipt. – In Supply Chain Execution click on Inventory management

And in Tasks, in Receipts section, click on Receive Expected Shipments

Search with PO Number, Select line and click on Receive.


Enter Qty and Subinventory and click on Create Receipt

and then on Submit

Now Go To Sales order and check Status in Supply Details for B2B.

Now we can perform the pick release and Ship Confirm for this SO.
Go To Inventory Management and Shipment section, click on manage Shipment
Lines
Search with SO Number

Specify shipping Method

Enter Transportation reason

Click on Ship Confirm

Now Check SO Status, go to fulfilment View


Check Supply Details

Check Line status


Its awaiting billing as goods are shipped now.

Now Run Import Autoinvoice

And Submit

Process Ends
