E Cut Label Cutter Print Then Cut Alignment Guide
Fixes 'reads marks but cuts off the print' issues.
Follow steps in order: scaling page size marks loading calibration test cut.
Includes annotated frames from your video for context.
Step 1 Print at 100% (Actual Size)
Disable 'Fit to page' / 'Scale to media'.
Print a 100 × 100 mm square and measure.
If not exactly 100 mm, fix printer scaling before cutting.
Print Settings (mock screenshot)

Orientation: Portrait
Scale / Size:
Actual Size (100%) select this
Measure with ruler.
Must be exactly 100 mm.
Step 2 Keep Page Sizes Identical
If you design on A4, print A4 and set the cutter to A4.
Do not change orientation or scale after adding marks.
Design = Print = Cut

Any mismatch causes offsets.
Step 3 Use 4-Corner CCD Marks
Four solid black squares, 6 8 mm.
Place marks 5 10 mm from artwork edges.
Select the same mark type in the software.
Use 4-corner squares, solid black, 6 8 mm.
Keep 5 10 mm margin between artwork and page edges.
Step 4 Load Sheet Correctly & Set Origin
Feed the sheet with the TOPTopedge
edgefirst (where

Align straight, lock pinch rollers.
Press ORIGIN/SET so the machine knows the start point.

Align guides, lock rollers, set ORIGIN at front left.
Step 6 Print & Cut a 100 × 100 mm Test
Cut the square after scanning marks.
Calibration Test: 100 × 100 mm square
If result 100.00 mm, enter X/Y scale correction.
When perfect, save as a preset.
Measure both directions.
Adjust X/Y scale if not 100 mm.
Troubleshooting Quick Answers
Reads marks but cuts off: check Step 1 (scaling) and Step 5 (offset).
Doesn t see marks: marks too small/light or glare; reprint solid black 6 8 mm; turn camera l
Cuts through backing: reduce blade depth or pressure.
Not cutting at all: set cutter ONLINE, correct Device/Port, resend small test.
