Vendor Risk Management Lesson 4 • Exercise 1

How To: Add Rule Logic

Step 1: Click the Launchpad , then Vendor Risk Management

Step 2: On the left side of the screen, find the Setup section, then click Templates

Step 3: Click the blue Choose From Gallery button at the top right

Step 4: At the top middle of the screen, find the Search Bar and type VRM

Step 5: Hover the mouse over the VRM Dynamic Template Assessment (Basic) 1.2
template and click the blue Preview button

Step 6: Click the blue Choose This Template button at the bottom right

Step 7: Rename the template: XX-VRM Template Assessment (Basic) - 1.2 then click
the blue Create Template button

Step 8: At the top center of the screen, next to the Builder tab, click the Rules tab

Step 9: Click the white Add Rule button

Step 10: Click into the Rule Name box and type in: 3.3 No Privacy Program

Step 11: Under Conditions, click the Trigger box below it, and select Question

Step 12: In the box to the right, click the drop down and choose Question 3.3 Do you
have a formal and documented privacy...

Step 13: Operator = Equal To

Step 14: Response = No

Step 15: Under Actions, click on the box and select Create Risk

Step 16: Choose your desired Inherent Risk Level and add a Description

Step 17: Click Save

Step 18: Click the blue Publish button at the top right, then the blue Confirm button
