SECTION – D
(Section D consists of 1 question of 5 marks)
26. Draw the graphs of the equations x – y + 1 = 0 and 3x + 2y – 12 = 0. Determine the coordinates [5]
of the vertices of the triangle formed by these lines and the x-axis, and shade the triangular
region. Also find the area of the triangle so formed.
OR
A vessel contains mixture of 24 l milk and 6 l water and a second vessel contains a mixture of
15 l milk and 10 l water. How much mixture of milk and water should be taken from the first
and the second vessel separately and kept in a third vessel so that the third vessel may contain
a mixture of 25 l milk and 10 l water.

(Section E consists of 2 questions of 4 marks)
27. Case 1: ABC construction company got the contract of making speed humps on roads. Speed [4]
humps are parabolic in shape and prevents over speeding, minimize accidents and gives a chance
