we check the corresponding box.

4th Press the [START] button
5th On the right side, it will indicate the testing results as it accesses the different
modules of our vehicle.

Query/deletion of error memory from the different modules.

This process should be carried out after the problem has been fixed.
some of the electronically controlled systems.
For example, when the airbag warning light stays on the dashboard afterwards.
having manipulated this without removing the battery.

1st We enter the module that interests us.

For example in [15–AIRBAG].
2º We select the function [02-Fault Codes]

There it will list the errors that the module has collected.
3rd We press the button [05-Clear Codes]
And we will have it ready, logically if the problems that the system had persisted the module
I would list errors again.

01-Motor.

Idle adjustment.

With the engine hot, started and idling:

1st [01-Engine]
2nd [10-Adaptation]
3rd Let's go to channel 01 (gasoline engines) or channel 02 (diesel engines).
We enter an adaptation value between 124 and 132 for gasoline engines.
based on the value 32768 in diesel engines.
Raise it or lower it according to how we want to raise or lower the idle.
(The most advisable thing is to take the factory value as a reference for our movement.)
4th [SAVE]

Adaptation of the butterfly's control unit.

The control unit of the butterfly is governed by the relative position of the
accelerator pedal at every moment.
Turn on the ignition but do not start the engine.

2
1st [01-Engine]
2nd [08- Meas. blocks]
3rd Let's go to channel 060 (electronic throttle) or 098 (cable throttle).
We click the [Switch to basic settings] button.
At the start of the basic adjustment, in the upper right corner of the screen
the message 'ADAP running' will appear.
You will see how the values change and you will hear the cycle of the control unit.
butterfly for a brief moment and then it will stop. Leave it in basic mode
for about 30 seconds.
5th We click the button [Switch to Meas. blocks]
And we already have the butterfly control unit adapted.
Do not touch the accelerator pedal during the process and ensure that the engine
it's off when it does!

Cruise Control Activation/Deactivation.

1st [01-Engine]

2nd [11-Login]
We enter the login code 11463 to activate the speed regulator (cruise control).

3rd [do it!]

If what we want is to disable the cruise control, we will use the Login code 16167.
if the login code used is NOT accepted, we will be automatically disconnected from the module and return to
connect, showing the message on the main screen of the module in its upper right corner
"Login Lost due to dropped session" if this is so, the control of will not have been activated/deactivated.
cruise.

03-ABS Brakes.

This module also controls the TCS/ESP if it has them.

Testing the functioning of the ABS by means of its basic adjustment.

1st [03 – ABS Brakes]

2nd [08 – Measurement blocks]
3rd We are going to group 001.
4th We click the button [Switch to basic settings]

A warning will appear on the screen, and the brake pedal will feel softer than usual, we press it until

We will have the procedure finished.

Calibration of the centered position in the turning angle sensor.

Very useful when we have problems with the ESP or steering alignment.

1st [03 - ABS Brakes]

2nd [Login - 11]

We enter the login code 40168 [Do It!]

3rd [08 – Meas. blocks]

We are going to group 060.
5th We press the button [Switch to basic settings]

This will allow for the calibration of the zero (centered) position of the steering wheel.
We will do it using the steering wheel.
It should give the message 'Steer. angle sender compens OK' when the process has

successfully, or the process was unsuccessful.

6th We press the button [Switch to Meas. blocks]

We will have finished the procedure.

17 - Instrument panel.

Reset service intervals.

1st [17-instruments]
2nd [10–Adaptation]
3rd Let's go to channel 2, if it is giving the 'service' review warning.

We will have the channel with the value 1.

4th We change the 1 to the 0 and press [SAVE]
Once the new value is recorded, we have reset the service interval.

Change the language of the onboard computer.

1st [17–instruments]
2nd [10–Adaptation]
3rd Let's go to channel 4. It will put 00001 (if it is in German)

4
and we will have to change it to 00005 for the Spanish language.
4th [Save]
Once the new value is recorded, we now have the onboard computer in Spanish.

Coding of the control lamps of the panel.

1st [17-Instruments]

2nd [07-Recode]
Note the existing coding for future reference.
And among the corresponding 5-digit code mentioned below that we want to activate.

3rd [do it!]

See the first two digits of the coding. Add the values of the
options to obtain the correct coding:

00 - No equipment available
+01 - Brake pad wear warning activated.
+02 - Seat belt warning activated.
+04 - Windshield washer fluid warning activated.

See the 3rd digit of the coding (country variant code):

Rest of the World 24-hour clock
"Canada" 12-hour clock

See the 4th digit of the coding (cylinders):

0 - Others
4 - 4 cylinders
6 - 6 cylinders

The 5th digit of the coding corresponds to the impulse multiplier for east travel.
code for travel impulses depends on the motor/transmission combination.

If it is necessary to code several optional equipment, they must be added.

respective codes for each optional equipment.
For example, if we want to activate the seatbelt warnings and
of the windshield washer fluid in a TDI engine, we would have to add:

The first 2 digits 02+04 = 06

3rd digit, being in Europe = 1
4th digit, Diesel vehicle 3 cylinders = 0
5º The one assigned from factory = 4

The result of the encoding would be 06104.

46 Comfort system.

Selective Unlock.

1st [46-Cont. conv] (35 - Central closure. for manual windows)

2nd [07-Recode]
Note the existing coding for future reference.
And among the 5-digit code mentioned below.

3rd [do it!]

See the existing coding. If there is no selective unlocking (press the unlock button once)
time to open the driver's door,
twice to open all the doors), the last number of its encoding should be a number
odd. To activate selective unlocking, subtract 1 from the existing encoding. For example:
In a Seat León
Opening all doors when pressing.
00256 Opening the driver's door by pressing once, and all doors

press two in a row.

Opening all doors by pressing.
00258 Opening the driver's door by pressing once, and all doors

push two in a row.

Theoretically, the first two are for vehicles that have two automatic windows, and the others
There are 2 for the 4 automatic window lifts.
Upon entering, you notice which one you have, and switch to the one that interests you.
If this does not match the coding of your vehicle, generally add or subtract one to it.
the coding you have will make it behave as you are interested, if it does not accept the coding
if you can't get it to work as you want, leave the factory settings.

Interior monitor.

This function is the one that controls whether the alarm monitors the interior of the vehicle when we close it.

1st [46-Cent. Conv.]

2nd [10-Adaptation]
3rd Let's go to channel 5.

If this is 'OFF' value '0' it will not monitor the inside of the car
deactivating the volumetrics.
If this is 'ON' value '1' will monitor the inside of the car

It also closes the trunk 30 seconds after starting the car.

1st [46-Cent Conv]

2nd [10-Adaptation]
3rd Let's go to channel 3 called AUTOLOCK.
We change the value 0 to 1 to activate it, or vice versa as needed.
5th [Save]
And we have activated or deactivated it, depending on how we have proceeded.
the vehicle's auto-lock from 15km/h.
** We remain within [10-Adaptation]

1st Let's go to channel 4 called AUTOUNLOCK.

And if we want the car to unlock when removing the key from the ignition or in case of an accident.
We change the value 0 to 1 to activate it,
or the other way around, depending on our interest.
