Where did evil come

from?
“Choose ye this day whom ye will
serve.” Joshua 24:15.

GOD CREATED A PERFECT WORLD

 The plants grew big and lovely. It
was never too hot! It was never too
cold! There were never any storms.
 The animals were nice and friendly.
The cats didn’t scratch. The dogs
didn’t bite.
 Even animals like wolves and lions
were kind and gentle. But is our
world like that today? No, it isn’t!
Where then did all the bad things
come from?

 Today, there is sadness and

trouble everywhere!
 Many people often get sick
with terrible diseases and die.
Many people ask the question,
“If Jesus is such a kind and
loving God, why is our world so
bad?” Have you ever
wondered that?
 Sometimes storms destroy
houses and gardens, and
people say, “Jesus caused that
storm to come.” Do the bad
things in our world come from
Jesus?
Where did the devil come from, and
why did He come to our earth?

 This is what the Bible tells us (Luke

10:18
 Long ago, Lucifer was the highest
angel in Heaven. He was the
leader of the many, many angels.
The name Lucifer means, “Light
Bearer” or “The Shining One”.

The question is, “Why did Satan
and his evil angels come to our
earth? And how did they start to

had made?

he saw that here was a beautiful and

 Let’s read it all together: “The wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23. This
means that the punishment for disobeying Jesus is to die forever. Every
person in this world dies. We all have to die, but that is not the punishment
for sin that this verse is talking about. This verse just means that once a
person dies, his punishment is that he would always stay dead, and never live
again. Would Adam and Eve have to die forever, and never live again?
